rumor?
I just read on kawiforums where one guy said that he heard that this is the last year for the 14? Anyone else know if this is true?

Won't see a improved busa either in 08... Seen a dyno chart yesterday on the 07 gsxr 175rwhp and 80 ft tq stock ..THATS 25 HP MORE THAN CURRENT BUSA ...Gonna be hard to beat with current busa motor

I got my zx14 so if they stop making them it's all ok with me... But if they make a zx15 i'll be all over like a Hobo on a ham sandwich !!!!!!!!!

Yup i was thinging about getting it ... But remember i'm 150 pounds ..Put a 200 pounder on the zx10 and you will need torq ....  ....

If speed by International agreement is restricted to 186 mph, I see no economic sense to produce a more powerful bike so therefore there may not be another Busa or ZX-15. Motorcycle companies make bikes to make money... not bragging rights.
It it happens it might make our bikes more valuable some day. Law of Supply and demand. If you notice they don't make any more 427 Chevys. But go to an classic auction and see what they bring in today.

Any company will continue to make whatever they make IF they are selling. If somebody showed me proof that 06 and 07 bikes don't sell then I would consider the rumor......but I keep seeing them leave the dealerships.....

Yeah, I hope it's just a rumor. I want to see what new designs kawi comes up with for the 14. If it's like the 10, it should get lighter and more powerful.

I have heard that in 08 they will drop the ZX14R BOMB 1398cc same with the busa 1398 but who really knows
