I was kinda pissed at the ol lady when she took that pic.
It was a rolling burnout, 40 mph frt brake applied, 2nd then 3rd gear tryin not to bounce the rev limiter,
there was another 100 yrds of smoke behind me but she is shitty with a camera, and instead got the 100 yds of pavement in front ... LOL
Oh well, theres always this spring... I tried one of those Pirelli strada's, they do wear like iron but have the traction of iron too, plus it picked up a nail so i won't ride on it, kinda scared of plugs ...
So I'll burn it up, it will be a good way to clear the cob webs, and put 2 feet of snow behind me.
Make sure ya share your burnout pics ... I love the smell of burning rubber!!

Now....yer killin' me! :d
Lyle ; I am going to try the same, There is a great big radius curve in an industrial park near the house. Damn near deserted on the weekends, I know I can get the roll'in burnout going, Gunna try for it around the curve, then loft it at the end. Then hope the wife gets it right with the camera. All goes right it will be a great pic. More than likely I'm doomed

Weight the front end !
I recommend only straight lines!
Initial loss of traction is most important, but keep yur weight up front.
Must be totally commited, last summer I half tried it, didn't dump the cluth at high enough RPM and didn't weight the frt end enough... rear stayed hooked and pushed my locked up frt wheel, nearly low sided me.
at 50 mph it'll slap you down so quick, I was really lucky to save it.
I let go of the brake, hammered the throttle and corrected for imbalance immediatly...
another 20mph and It surely would have happened to fast to save.
If the rear hooks up It will push the frt end and can lowside you!
If your doin it in a corner, and the rear hooks, likely never save it., as it already wants to fall over. I barely saved it in straight line.
My friend was triin it on his bike last fall... monkey see monkey doo! ....and he didn't weight the frt enough, he low sided and tore all his plastic up !
Bruised his ego too.
He's about 80lbs heavier than me and had a hard time keeping the rear light enough I think.
Get rid of them flies, if you hook the bottom rpm modulating the throttle more power is better.
all the nice curved blackies I laid last summer were low to mid rpm controlled powerslides.
Gene,
send pics, or better yet video
