How not to drag race.....
I had a pretty good night at the drag strip, i got in 5 runs and matched my best 1/8 mile pass of 5.69 @ 126. 38.... On my 3 third run i was on a killer pass , i had a 1.40 60 foot and a best ever 330 time of 3.73 and then all hell broke lose ... I has in a very small wheely and the bike headed for the center line, there was nothing to do but ride it out and i ended up in the other lane ..I didn't want to cut the gas because i was worried about the other bike running into me... I Hit the 330 and 660 cones with my bike but i did feel a thing when i hit them ...I didn't see any damge on the bike till i got home and this is what i found ...

Ditto. Just as long as you were safe is all that matters. I'm jealous of you guys being able to friggin' run all year long. I live here in Maryland and it is about 25* outside right now.

We had good air at the start of the night but the moisture was building quick toward the end.

Glad you are safe. Way to go on the 1.40 60ft. Wish I could have been there, but I'm ill.

Hey, i just wanted to say thanks for all the comments that you post and all the things that yall talk about in these forums. They really give me some good reading and i've even learned alot from yalls chats on here. I have a quick question though and i know it's a lil off the topic, but it deals with the drag racin. I want to either get me a zx10 or a zx14 once i get back home from iraq with my combat pay. the question is though, is which one should i go with because i only weigh 120 wet lol and 5'5". So, your comments to my situation will be highly appreciated and thank you all for all the great readings that that i continue to read daily.

I can tell you what i see at the drag strip ..We have two zx10s that i race with and both have the same mods as my zx14..One zx10 rider is 155 pounds and the other is 125 pounds, both are great riders....The zx10 with the 155 rider runs 9.00s to 9.10s on a good day and the zx10 125 pound rider runs 8.90s to 10.0s on a good day ... The 125 pound rider also has a zx14 modded like mine and runs 8.70s to 8.80s ... Almost 2 tenths better than the zx10 ...Both are great bikes but my money would be on the zx14 ...Smokin...
P/S Thank you for your service to our Country...Keep up the good work .......Smokin..
