bullshit. i have raced over 15 busa's set up like mine on the street and strip and have beat everyone of them. i have been at gateway drag strip and seen 2 friends with stock bikes race for 100 bucks and the 12 won. and one of our kawi and susuki dealers took out on two different occasions stock 12r's and busa's and did 1st gear roll ons up to 5th gear and the 12 won each time.the year was 2000

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------ZX12 owners were pissed because the Kawi promised to deliver and the ZX12 lost to the 'busa both on the track and on the sales floor.

I apologize to everyone, my intent wasn't to do a ZX12/14/busa debate.

Mark what color is your 12? I also race at gateway, and would like 2 run ya. I had a 12 b4 my 14, and would still have it but the clutches are crap on the 12s. Everytime i rode it the clutch would screw up. I love the 14 , all i have 2 say. Its the fastest and most reliable bike ive ever owned period.

I'm kinda suprised by all this bs. Apparently I must have missed some things that have been posted.

I've been away from bikes for about 3 years, but when I was riding, Vincent Hill helped me
with a couple things on the setup for my ZX-12r, and never steered me wrong.

I'm glad he posted about the frame even if it was wrong. If there was even a chance it was
a 14 then I would want to know. He did find out quickly and let everyone know it wasn't. I
appreciate him watching out.

Maybe he has posted some other things that make you question his motivation, but this
one instance looks a lot more like a stand up guy looking out for the rest of us to me.

I just got my new 14 this weekend, and I love it. The 12 was the fastest thing I had ever owned, and I defended it a lot, because the magazines didn't give it a fair shake. Stock for
stock, I out ran every Busa I came up against on the street. I respect the Busa, and I continue to respect and defend the 12 against it, but I also believe the 14 is quicker than both.

I don't want any of you to think I'm taking sides. Just wanted to give my thoughts.

Suggestion: DO NOT share this info with Vincent Hill and the folks at ZX12.com

Just a suggestion.

Nobody suggested that ZX14 frames couldn't be broke, many blasted Vincent Hill's original thread about the 14 frame and called him on it because it appeared to be obvious

And the saga continues.....
