Well, if you did, it was not a Kawasaki! It was a Suzuki Hayabusa!

I am going to post this in a Separate thread also. Since I too was hard pressed to understand how this could happen, I called another friend that knew this person and got the real Story.

It seems like the the guy that had this problem was a long standing Kawasaki Owner. His last bike was a ZX12R and he said he was getting a New ZX14. So when Steve (My friend heard that his bike broke when landing a small wheelie added 2 & 2 which in this case was not 4 teen.

FOr some reason the guy switched and bought a Brand New SUZUKI Hayabusa in December and with less than 1,000 miles on the Bike coming down from a small wheelie the frame broke right at the Steering head.

"IT WAS NOT A KAWASAKI ZX14 THAT BROKE AT THE STEERING HEAD it was a SUZIKI Hayabusa

I did not know which was the best thing to do in this case. Wait until I saw the Bike which may have put someone at risk or put a warning up about what I had heard and then get to the bike for the details! I know the thought of this sure scarred me and knowing that I would want to know to be on the cautious side until I knew more I posted this. Of course knowing that a lot of people think I am against the 14 did not help either! So I posted this on the 12 side to give me time to trach this all down. I have known Steve Foster for about 25 years and is a person that owned his own shop and is close to 50 years old and takes life seriously. At first I wanted to Kill him but I may have made the same mistake myself. So my apology for leaning on being sooner rather than later. AGAIN< IT WAS NOT A ZX14

Believe that the ZX14 does not have a Frame Problem that I or anyone I know knows about!

(It is also Suzuki he is suing not Kawasaki)
