Got my Bike back.
I picked my bike up on Saturday and put some miles on it. I can say it is way smoother than it was stock or even brand new. It even Idled better than a brand new 07. I don't know why. Actually got to look at what actually broke inside the engine. It was the bearing (I think thats what you call it). Its the round sleeve that hooks on to the camshaft under neath the piston rod. It actually broke apart and was worn down thickness wise as well. But the piston looked fine and camshaft looked fine as well. I got a new piston and camshaft and new piston rings. Kawasaki picked up the bill for the new rings on the other cyclinders as well. Its amazing how smooth the bike runs now compared to a new 14. Don't hate me for saying this but its as smooth as a Honda.. Wander why?

I think every where in this story where you used camshaft you mean crankshaft, sorry to say but you going to get called a liar again, but I think you just don't know the inner workings of an engine. Because if your piston rod was connected to your cam, no wonder it blew up.

Thats what I meant crankshaft I suppose and yes I'm no mechanic. And dont' care who believes it or not. The dealership is also a Suzuki dealer as well as others and they said if it were a Suzuki they would not have covered the repair at all. Makes me feel good about Kawasaki..

Funny you say that, I've had 2 friends with '05 'busa bikes that pop out of gear, and both told me Suzuki knows all about it being a common problem but won't fix it unless the bike is still under warranty. And one of my friends paid a fortune to have his fixed.

its finally running right, my 14 is the smoothest since my old 80 black cbx, especially in the high revs, run it hard
