ZX10 Screen on a 14?

While in the stealership today I noticed that there wasn't much difference between the two screens other than the 10 screen being a much lower profile, which is what I'm looking for. It appeared that the sizes were very close with only the middle hole being out of place, which would be easy to change. Anyone have both that could try them out and let me know, or have any thoughts on this idea? I've posted for an old 10 screen on the 10 forum to experiement with before I start trying to cut on my stock screen.

tell me to mind my own business mate but I've got to ask......
Why do you want a screen that is lower than stock????
Most riders are complaining that the stock screen is too low anyway, and are looking round for touring or double bubbles to get rid of the wind blast.
Just curious

Might even be less turbulence above 180mph if you can get in the right tuck.

Well, the 10 screen would not work as the new holes would have been mostly beyond the right edge of the plastic lip. The stock screens have a plastic tab extended beyond the edge to accommodate the holes.

And Mano2 is correct, I was looking for less frontal area. Anyone that has been on a busa knows what I'm looking for. The busa screen was much lower/flatter that allowed my head to be above the wind blast into very smooth quiet air. I just can't seem to find the sweet spot on the 14. Got a PB Air Flow on it now and it's better than stock, but looks like I'll have to buy one of everything out there to find my "holy grail." LOL

You can bearly get your head down into the 14 screen now and be able to see your track. With the smaller screen you will have more more resistance from your helmet which will be less aerodynamic than the 14 screen. In my opinion you will achive a slower top speed... if speed is what you are going for.
