What gear are you guys in, going thru the traps?
I know this answer will vary based on setup. I am still interested in knowing how many gears guys are getting in the 1/4mile and 1/8mile. I am in 4th while going thru the finish line in the quarter mile. Stock gearing, wheelbase, and exhuast is my setup now.
I am eventually looking to get into 5th gear in the 1/4mile.

On standard gearing the bike will pull to around 158mph in 4th, on 16/41 it will still do around 150. I would think that hooking 5th would be slower through the quarter unless the bike is seriously geared down.

I shift to 5th right before the traps ... 16/41 gearing..

Usually top of 4th or shifting into 5th. On nitrous, I am at the top of 5th right now!
