What does this statement have to do with the topic of thr thread? If you've a problem such as this, wouldn't it go in another thread...maybe addressed "hijackers"? So you hijacked to reveal hijacking. Thats odd.

FYI The dealer talked to the manufacture and Kawasaki acknowledges that this has not been the first incident.. All the other 14's in which had failure were also rod # 3.. Could Rob or Brock or another crediable source have a explaination?

...reminicent of the old ZX11's... I remember them having an oiling problem that caused many failures...
Just got pointed to this thread. Rough crowd. For my sake I hope that whatever the cause was it's corrected in the 07! Any idea when you'll get the bike back? I wouldn't spend the $$ on pistons. You could likely mill the head to bump the compression if wanted. Good luck!

Hey I just got the bike back last Wed. I also just sent it back out the H2O cycle to git it blinged out. It's going to be in a show at FAT TUESDAY where I will have my grudge bike and supercharged 10.

sounds like too many passes in the 1/4 or too many wheelies and not enough oil change between it all.
