Which do you think is louder
and by how much? Not dB necessarily but do you think the difference is significant i.e. twice as loud, 30% louder (yes I know this is subjective).
1. Muzzly Full with Carbon Can
2. Brocks Street Meg
Thanks

Brock's S-meg is a little louder, I have heard both but not side by side, but I am half deaf anyway :P
Seriously both are good pipes. You will be happy with either one, what do you want in a pipe ?? Price? Performance? Looks?
1st I really like my S-meg, Quality is 1st rate and performance...Wow!!
2nd Brock's customer service is the BEST ...IMO

Well I want performance first but NOT if it so loud that it is annoying to ride for long periods. Looks: as long as it is dark as the bike is white. Black or a darker color will go better probably. I actually like the symmetry of having two pipes but not at the sacrifice of 10 RWHP

This was discussed almost as much as the flys issue, so you can do a bikeland search for details.
Doesn't everyone agree Brocks SMEG makes more power than any system, including his Gen 3?
But SMEG is a little loud I have heard, unlike my Gen 3 that has been very quiet so far.
My Gen 3 is at least as quiet/quieter than my AKRO on my ZX12, best recollection.
I'm glad I didn't wait for the more expensive system.
Especially with Brocks customer support being off the chart good.

If you get a full exhaust system (Brock's Gen3) the weight improvement is huge also, 27 lbs I believe, very significant. I haven't heard the S-meg but the Gen3 from Brock is surprisingly quiet. It's a good deal louder than the stock system, but it really doesn't sound louder as much as it just sounds deeper.
If you're going to be riding for more than 15 min at speeds over 40mph you should be wearing ear plugs anyhow. Wind noise alone will eventually damage your hearing at highway speeds.

uhm megaphone, remove baffle if you need louder.
ive got a muzzys mega on my stroker and it sounds good - i plan on removing the baffle for a more of sidewinderish look.

If you buy the Gen 3 Streetsmart and decide you need a louder more powerful exhaust you can purchase a megaphone conversion from Brock. It's on Brock's site.

You didn't say whether you were looking for a louder pipe or a quieter one. I like it loud because it moves traffic out of the way and they know you're coming. I need to wear ear plugs but saving my hearing and being accident free is worth it.
A quieter pipe is better for noise and passengers but traffic can't hear you as well and you have to be more on guard--

Well it seems to me like I'm the only one who have heard them side by side! Well me and my friend hotrod has the same bikes with basically the same set up with the exception of him running an airshifter which doesn't affect sound. My Smeg is louder than the muzzy on his but not to the point where it is uncomfortable! Now I have ridden without the baffle and lord have mercy that thing is an ear drums worst nightmare. I love it when I'm at the track though! Anyway, with me being louder, I still would not trade it for anything except a brocks sidewinder! If I was strictly track!

I agree.. I would get cut off alot when it had stock pipes, Smeg now.... they hear me first, then see me blow by

Yup,
Horns are reactive to being cut off.
Loud pipes are proactive to being cut off.
The smeg sounds so sweet at 10 grand too!
I love it!

Fasta. Vat die Brock my pal. Ek het een. The street meg is very good. Must say I don't have any exprience with the muzzys but it will have to be a hell of a pipe to beat Brock's street meg. To me the sound is just right. Calms down with speed. Beautifull enough to brag around the neigbourhood. To me again it has a very simular sound to a rotary motor.
