Muzzy Slip-on or Full
What is the difference? NOT talking about the Megaphone here.
What is the difference between the Slip-on vs the full system?
I believe the full system has one muffler but the slip-on has two; given that are the Canisters the same for both systems?
Anyone had both and can comment on performance for each (I don't suppose for one second anyone has dyno with slip-on and dyno with full exhaust system?
Thanks
Frank

Hi Frank,
A full system will usually produce more power when correctly set up and saves weight, maybe 30lbs or more. It's the more expensive option too. My 14 also runs cooler with it's TiForce system.

About 10 - 15 hp and aprox. 30 -35 lbs in weight for a full system. The full system is HEAVY the cans weight about 15 -20 apeice. so if you go with just slip ons you will get some saving there.
The stock collector has a catalist in it. It is also beefy, I went with a Brock's Street Meg. and Pc3 which he is very good at supplying maps for, depending on what set up you have. (Flies in or out ect.) Muzzy also will suppy a map for his pipe but his choices are more limited.

I believe the stock system has the cats in the cans not the collector.slip-ons will eliminate them.

There are cats in the base of the stock mufflers. I bandsawed mine off at the base of the mufflers to reuse the mid pipes, and there is a Catalyst in each muffler at the bottom end. That is why the stockers are so heavy....TB
