New to the board and Pickin up a new white one in the morning

I had the choice of blue or the Sp Edition white. When I found out from the flaky flames were just stickers (from a post on this site), I told the sales guy if he removed the stickers he would have a deal. Got it for 1300 off of list so I am pretty happy (spent the savings on a crap load of cold weather gear). My history with bikes is an H1 Kawasaki back in 79 (I was 16 and thought I was immortal), a V-Star 1100 in 2001 (nice bike but the excitement of a Toyota Camry.) and now this: I can't wait!!! I' picked the Kawasaki based on reviews, BBs and that everyone with a Superbike seemed to have a Busa. I'll post pictures once I get it so you guys can see a white one without the silly ass flames. Great site with lots of good advice.

Can't stand the flames, but is should look awesome with them off.......almost as good as a black one!!

I wouldnt buy a bike that wasnt clear coated it will have no gloss to it at all... I have never

seen any kind of vehicle that came from the factory with no clearcoat unless Kawisaki has

switched to enamel pain

I'm sure it is clear coated..............the stickers are just applied afterwords....................they probably will peel right off......................
