webmaster@texserve.com seems to be their webmaster as that is where they want you to send your pictures of your ride.

Man damn, do you have any sneak peeks to share with us? I'd like to see your turbo placement and I also wanna be able to add a mid-pipe as well as my SMEG pipe for the street look. I don't care to loose some power with that either. How long before your kit is ready?

That's all I want to post for now.......
My setup will connect to stock pipes or slips w/ aftermarket options later.....which will be easy.

iflyhi, I see they use a intergrated wastegate so that alone makes it simplier to use instead of one that is mounted elsewhere.
ninja14, thanks man. Please keep us in the loop on your kit too. What did you say you were going to try and keep prices for you kit around?

I tried to use the internal gate, but I did not want to mount the turbo with the compressor on the right and hanging out more......so I went for the external.
Was shooting for around $3K, but depends on what options are included.......more later....

LOL. Where did you "HEAR" that from?
I have not made any deposits on anything. I looked at the kit on zx14.net and it is a nice piece. I've spent over $4000 for Christmas and it had nothing to do with this bike at all. Greg and I have had a few words before but nothing that two men didn't work out. The guy has a business to build so I guess he was just doing business as usual with Mr. Turbo to get a contract for those kits. Other than that, I've reviewed the kit on his site like others have and that's it. Keep me posted on your too. $6000 installed, what about the kit price itself?
ninja14, DAMN if $3000 is it, man I will be highly considering what you have to offer. What brand turbos will you use? Are you using Tial WG and BOV's? DEFINATELY keep me posted and updated.

I am using a TD05-16G large wheel - a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution unit. It was the physical size I like and met my performance goals for the bike. There are cheap units on eBay, but that is not what I bought - I got it from a good source so it costs a little more.......actually plenty more, but I wanted a good piece and have not sought out a lower price source just yet, but will be looking. The WG is exactly like the Tial units (prob made by the same kids in a factory in China), but is less expensive. There was no reason for me to pay for name brands that many times are the same parts as those w/o the name on them. I did not want to trust manual controls so there is an electronic controller that can be adjusted w/o getting off the bike.
The lowest cost kit would only be what is required to make it work and probbaly just be about 5psi max. If you want more boost (power) you will need more stuff. I have added a ton of stuff so I can test it all in a shorter period and then see how to offer it in stages.
So far:
TD05 16G turbo
Aux lubrication system
External WG - 5.8psi
Adjustable BOV
Custom pipes
Electronic boost controller w/ guage
Timing retard box - Schnitz is helping me mod it for my app
Water/Meth injection w/ control box and 150psi pump - left ram air duct is the tank now
Water flow safety controller
Upgraded fuel system
Wideband A/F with guage and logger output
-8 spark plugs
Manual cam tensioner
Metal radiator fan
Engine Ice
Blended engine oil
Shiftlight
....etc.....probably forgot something....
Already had 2Bros CF cans, 16/43 gearing w/ Speedohealer (which will prob go back to stock) PCIII, no flies and gear locked to N - which will now be locked in 6th.
May be a couple weeks before I get it done and dyno tuned, but it should be worth the wait and hopefully the time and costs :-)

ninja14, is this AF meter the one from innovate? Those are very easy to use and tune with especailly after a hard pass down the street/track.
Thanks man and keep me posted.

Most of the parts are automotive - not bike specific - and I got them from Import tuner places.

I cant believe anyone still uses Mr Turbo....lol.
Well I guess if you like your turbos to be left over from a 1950s surplus bin.
I can think of 4 builders/installers that are light years ahead of Mr Turbo in terms of research, development, fitament, knowledge, and of course service.
But hey... if something works for ya..stick with it.
