Mr Turbo zx14

This really upsets me...I have in the past have run 3 bikes with MR Turbo kits ..These kits i got right from MR Turbo........ Now Mr Turbo will be selling the new zx14 Turbo though zx14.net ..You can't call MR Turbo and order a zx14 kit...
I like MR Turbos kits and have had good luck with them but NO way would i buy one from zx14.net.....I'm not stuffing someone elses pocket for doing nothing but being a middle man.. I'm not sure at this point i want another turbo bike but if i do go that way i want to buy it right from the man that made it....You may feel different and have no problem going though zx14.net to get one and that's ok if that's what you want, after all it's a free Country... I just feel put off by this whole thing...After supporting MR Turbo by buying 3 turbo kits and other parts over the years i feel like i just got slapped in the face by MR Turbo ..

I feel the same way smokin, But I think I would wait and see what Motorheads kit is like. I know he is working on one. I may either go turbo or a wet nos kit. still up in the air.

Bently i'm with you i have no clue at this point what way i will go to add more power ... Back to my post > I would feel the same way if Brock told me i could not buy a pipe right from him and he sent me to the zyx company to get his pipe... Brock would never do that but you see my point ..Smokin..

I also bought a turbo kit from them back in the stone age but if it puts a penny in Greg's pocket I would spend many hundreds more elsewhere. Mr. Turbo and 14.net

By this association, Mr Turbo has severely limited it's market to a guy who adds electric motors in the intake tract of a 14

You guys may not realize it, But A.T.P. in Van Nuys, Ca., has a turbo kit for the ZX14, and its been out for several months now.
Sure, its a litte more expensive than the Mr. Turbo kit, but if you want one right now, they are available.
My bike will be done soon. It would have been done already but I'm having Harry do a bunch more stuff to the bike not related to the turbo kit.
Price is $6000 installed. BTW, I shipped my bike with Eagle One Express for only $575 one way from Louisiana.
Your only ever going to buy one turbo kit for your bike, go with ATP. Mr. Turbo makes great kits, but folks, it has taken him more than eight months to develop the first kit, and no word yet on if its running, hp numbers, or anything else.
Just me 3 cents.

After looking over at Dickhead's site it looks like he's lying about " . . . no bulging air filter to get rained on as well, everything is in the plastic." YEAH RIGHT, there is no filter in the pictures.

Prince Greg also has some words that confirm what some of us think about him. "Some people are very good at contracts and negotiations and we are one of them."

Fucking WE ARE ONE? WTF?!? I bet Fish has a differing opinion of him!

From the Prince himself:

"Dyno Power numbers on pump fuel:

At 5lbs. of boost: 269.3 HP 151.7 foot pounds of torque @ 7800 RPMS

HPC brings you a very street friendly and reliable ZX-14 Turbo Kit. At only 5lbs of boost, we are already seeing over 260 HP and 151 foot pounds of torque on pump gas, on a stingy Dyno, before mapping. So we know the bike can and will do much more safely. This kit was made for the street, not the strip; a stage II and III version are coming shortly. Also, no bulging air filter to get rained on as well, everything is in the plastic. The (5) lbs of boost is set to keep the bike road friendly and reduce the likelihood of overheating issues as seen with many other turbo kits. He did exactly as requested. This garret turbo kit is a work of art.

The kit is $4999.00 plus shipping. Pre-order fast, once these kits hit the streets they will be in high demand. We will also tune and install these kits at Hyperbike Performance Centers in Frederick, MD. If interested contact me: 301-xxx-xxxx, we will be the only distributors of this kit in the world for the next two years. Let me know."

$5000 for the Mr. Turbo kit.......$5200 for the ATP kit.......and $6000 installed....tough choice..NOT!!!!!
Originally the Mr. Turbo kit was going to be not more than four thousand. Amazing how things change.
I'm still scratching my head as to why it took Terry over 8 months to develop this kit. I would have bought one back in August if it was ready, but all I got was, "any day now".....bullshit. Mine is basically done now. And it only took two weeks. As far as HP numbers go, we'll see after the holidays. But remember, I'm going to be running strictly on the drag strip with C16 race gas.

If i go Turbo it will have to be the APT kit Because i'm not putting any money in ZX14.nets pockets for sure..

Perhaps a couple of emails to Mr. Turbo might stop them from signing further contracts with 14.net?

When I first saw the kit was in the works over there I considered going for it. After finding out more about sales being only through the site and how the kit was shaping up I decided to make my own......and maybe offer kits.....probably why I got banned.....

My parts do not stick out like that :-) ........I got the water/meth injection installed hidden as well.......

Man damn, do you have any sneak peeks to share with us? I'd like to see your turbo placement and I also wanna be able to add a mid-pipe as well as my SMEG pipe for the street look. I don't care to loose some power with that either. How long before your kit is ready?
