go with a-tech, even though its a bit pricey but high quality. i was very close to ordering all the a-tech zx-14 stuff but then i came to my senses and decided the money would be better spent on performance. a-tech offers them in unpainted non-carbon, which would look real slick painted in whatever color your bike is.

How can I get a hold of this a-tech stuff? Who sells it and can you make their website readable? Liking the grill covers.

Hey Guys... ive got a blue 07... loved the look of the striping....so i figured...chit i can do that.... first tried pinstripe tape....no good... seams looked bad & its very hard to follow the profile of the fin & the grooves with tape...then made the mistake of going to a auto parts store to try to match factory color....well after taping...primer...then two coats...that didnt match...chit...then ordered factory paint...went over the non matching blue..with factory paint...looked pretty good.....two coats of that....figure im all set..to pull tape & clear laquer the entire panel....wrong...the tape now had like 5-6 coats on it....i start pulling it up....everything wants to come up... chit again...well...followed the profile of fins/grooves with a utility knife best i can..pull tape carefully....and of course some of the white edges of the tape are stuck behind.... & of course pulled some blue off the fins...of course...so i frisbee the panel across the back lawn.... ok maybe not...touch up with more paint best i could... dap black marker on the white specks of tape still left behind....anyway..applied the clear spray laquer..issues with that...looks ok not great..... 2 weeks into this now ... maybe 8 hrs....morale of story....unless your skilled (which i obviously am not) with painting this type of stuff....just have someone else do them...or buy them pre-done....or as ill end up doing go with chrome...now as far as the undertail...thats a story for another time
