"The STREET MEG without the baffle is unbearably loud it hurt my ears and I never really got on it that and it kills the bottom en and mid range of the bike..."

black magic the sound is music to my ears, and it is not that loud(see boz brothers), as for your power observations i do not agree, i don't know how you set yours up but mine picked up power all over with the brocks supplied map even with the flies in it turned 2nd gear into 1st with the power. i've never put a pipe on a bike that made such a night and day difference and this is my fifth street bike that i have put pipes on.

Most Likely, none of the other bikes had cats, and were not detuned to the point anyone who has ridden would be comfortable on it.

Pipes are gonna become a big $$ ticket item in the future ....
when every bike will come with cats to meet the more stringent emissions laws....

I have owned old school kaws since 1984. My z1 900, kz 900 & ltd 1000 all has had megaphones without baffles. I love the sound of the old school. On a zx 14 I know it can't be nothing but a sweet sound to my ears. I hope Brock can supply a map that will let me run mine without a baffle & flies out. I would hate to lose bottom end & midrange power without a baffle. That would suck.

I think maybe you misunderstood me Adding the streetmeg made a huge difference in power across the range but when you take the baffle out it lost all bottem end I am sure it picked it up at the top but I couldnt stay in the throttle long enough to find out because it was SO LOUD with the baffle out it gave me a headache in like 3 minutes I love the sound of the SMEG with the baffle in and couldnt live without the power...

as you can see in the picture i have the baffle in, and according to Brock there was little(if anything) to be gained by removing it.

Hey bigdtd.. Just put my S-meg on X-mas eve.. Some assembly required. Best damn
X-mas eve thing I've put together

Sounds Fr*k'n SWEEET. Thanks for the advice from you, Smokin, and everybody else.

Special Thanks to Brock and the boys at the shop. The maps work spot on as you said they would, you guys are the best.

Much more power.Time was short. Left the flies in for now.

Future? 16/42 and flies mod.
