Wrong turbochager & compressor map, try this one for the GT4088R which is whats fitted
The smaller turbine you pictured is being used in our Modular Streetbike kit for the 14, should make 480bhp no problem. The GT4088R should be good for 'well over' 650bhp.

I agree. over 300hp and your into the motor with new pistons, rods, valve springs, lock-up clutch, etc.
There is just no way your going to get more than that out fo a turbo 14 on pump gas without motor work.
I think your kits look great, anxiously waiing to see the rest of the results.

We've seen 280 on a stock motor w/o intercooling.
I am using water/alc injection and expect to get as much as 350RWHP.........thats about 400 at the crank.................hope to find out in about 2 weeks................

ZXLNT you are correct yes it's BCC's set ups. I am talking to them now about the price they are rather expensive at this early point. So they said to check back in about 2 or 3 months. The only thing is I didn't have room for the Garrett GT28/76R race roller bearing turbo, Garrett GT30/71R Turbocharger 500bhp spec, and the GT 35R Race Roller Bearing Turbo. I just slapped it together real quick. I think you guys get the point.

quote:480HP..........must not be a stock motor - that'll cost plenty before you even get to the turbo part of it.........
Rad?..........Fairing? - doesn't look like a street bike......
Try this:
I got mine on w/ the rad and fairing in place :-)
More later..........
So will these
Both kits are fully street usable, rad & fairing fit back on no worries with small modification in the Race kits case & just air filter clearance in the street kits.
I would not attempt to build a 14 with a stock motor, I would expect my customers to at least fit a thicker head gasket cos Kawasaki pistons are shit at the best of times im afraid.

It would of done 750+ but the spark got snuffed out im afraid
So what kind of mph can/should someone expect for that kind of devastating horsepower on a streetbike hyabusa/zx-14

To be honest guys you never get traction. I raced the bike to a 7.90@193mph with about 450bhp in it. Which cos of the stupid turbo size of that bike was good going to do that.
Here is the turbo size of the GT42R, a bit extreme to say the least
The ZX-14 we are building (with the more compact GT40R) for top speed racing initially so it probably wont see a drag track next year.
Needs a job
Didn't read the owners manual

does anybody actually know of a single person who has a muzzy stage 3 for a zx-10 or 14? ive had interesting conversations about this with very knowledgable people. aside from being advertised on their website, stage 3 muzzy kits are unheard of and pretty much nonexistant to average consumers/general public from what ive gathered. i guess if youre a pro with lots of money and time to burn, then you could drop some dollars off with your bike in bend, oregon for a while and hope for the best.
edit:
ive been hearing good things about that american performance company out in cali which has been pumping out some nice stage 1 kits for the 14.

Hey Big cc do you guys have any figures on what the zx-14 is capable of on 91-92 octane. That's about as good as we get it here in KCMO without additives. Were at about 1000 feet of elelvation above sea level. I have seen 400whp out of busa's on 93 octane. But not around here.

My 14 arrrived at American Turbo two days ago. Harry will be doing the turbo, among other things. Have nothing but good things to say about him, and have heard the same from others. I highly recommend him. I'll have turbo kit #3. Apparanently they are just finishing up somebody elses 14. Dunno who it is.

Won't be going over 300hp for next year. The following year I'll take out the motor and do rods, pistons, valve springs, and the crank.

So far I am getting everything inside the stock fairing - not even a filter hanging out...which is tough with the oil filter and cooler still down there :-) .........not yet final, but looking good.
I am not trying to build the expensive race kit - it's easy if you throw money at it. I am shooting for a real bargain street kit for everyone that just wants an extra 50 to 150 RWHP. I am making it so that I can use my slip-ons so others can as well or even use stock pipes if they want.

I guess for now I'm just a "keyboard talker" :-)
For a cheap extra 50Hp, try NOS....for everything else, there TURBO!!!!!!!
