MUZZY AND BROCK RACE!!!!!!!!

Ok I guess I will be the first to get this started since no one else will.... THis I think will solve all discussion ROb and Brock meet at a nuetral track some forum member brings there 14, we set them up with a nuetral rider take the forum members bike and install the Brock pipe with the map supplied to customers not a "secret" map let the nuetral rider make 5 passes then take an average, then swith nothing but the pipe to a muzzy pipe with the map supplied to customers not a "secret" make 5 passes again (after sufficient cool down time) take and average again and we will have all the answers... I think this is going to be the only real answer now Rob and Brock step up and agree to this... I know I will be ther watchin perhaps gainesville, or we do a shootout race and invite PINKS ok i may be dreamin on that one lol... think of how many pipes you would sell off broagging rights alone if you win this shootout... OK LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!! oh yeah I guess we could throw in a Orient Express and a tsukigi for good measure

I've seen same day, same dyno, same bike, and different pipes, and I thought myself lucky to get that much.

I don't think it's a good idea to start smack like this with two supporting vendors. It's like saying "My dad is tougher than your dad". You are putting these two guys against each other and they have nothing to do with this...................These guys are bike guys just like us and your opening up a challenge................it's not right....................

I'm okay, with it and I already said something about it before. I don't think he slammed either one he just wanted a true race and see what pipe and map work better on the track.

on the other side of things people and bikes work differently at each track, and no rider is that consistant. Of course I could be wrong

Why not let ROb ride his own bike and Brock ride his own bike?? Now that would be interesting

Like this would ever happen. These guys probably have a lot of respect for each other's accomplishments.

I would think this would be a great oppurtunity for both tuners imagine the kind of respect the winner would get in the drag race community and as far as different riders that wouldnt prove anything about the pipes ... and as far as a rider being consistent i think an average of five runs would be pretty true of a test... Hey smokin you want to volunteer to be the jockey...

How bout they both call a favor in from someone they know and race in that format.

Ie; Rob can call Rickey G and put him on a bike for the quarter, and Brock can prolly call in Shine. That'd be tight!

Course, I don't know who Brock knows in roadracing...

There's those things called 'world championships' that kinda put you in with the right group of people, ya know?

Again I would want the race to test only the pipe not rider skill that is why i suggested one rider a nuetral rider like someone from the forum maybe Smokin... then after that they could do a headsup race or two for good measure... boy I dont know who I would put my money on Shine or Rickey G that would be one helluva race I would pay to see that

I believe sales are at risk with the outcome.. too big a gamble just for fun.. therefore it ain't happening....not a good marketing strategy...

would be interesting and would say which product is slightly superior...again thats why it ain't gonna happen from them (Brock and Muzzy)...of course independent racers can do their own comparisons and provide results if someone really wanted too...

Both are good products.. rider and other modifications like longer swingarm ,lowering , tires ect...have more impact I would think than just pipe and mapping......bit hard to produce identical factors...

sounds like a job for a motorcycle magazine...like Cycle world or other magazine for readers with this kind of curiosity ...they do this kinda comparisons...bet results would be close..

I think it would be interesting to watch but I dont think either one of them has to prove a point. Both guys has paid their dues and accomplished alot more than most people, if you want Muzzy buy Muzzy..if you want Brock buy Brock. It's all going to come down to what you want to buy, also there is alot more riders out there than just Shine or Rickey G...I bow to no man.

You guys need to grow up. Come on, Where was Brock 10 years ago when i was riding my 1984 900 ninja? Rob Muzzy has been supplying perfomance parts for kawasakis since I bought my first ninja. I dont give a shit whether Brocks pipe makes more power (not proven). He was no where to be found until the 14 came out. I will stick with Muzzy simply because he has stuck with me since my 2 1984 ninja 900s. I have owned every bigbore Ninja since 1984 and Muzzy was the one who supported me. If you children want to toot Brocks horn that's fine, but as for me i will continue to believe in Muzzy, and you just wait until the new Busa comes out and you will see who supports Kawasaki, it will be Muzzy and it always has been. Rob Muzzy is a household name and always will be at my house.
He has given me 20 years of great products. 1984 ninja, 1995 zx900,1989 zx10,1995 zx11, 2000 zx12, 2006 zx14. Me personally, i dont jump ship that often and Im sticking with Rob. He has had the credintials to back up his name since the late 70s. Where was Brock then, in grade school?

Actually The Brock Pipe is an altered to his specifications Hindle Pipe with Full Mapping. Hindle had been making pipes since the late 70's and in Canada won the Superbike Championship riding his own bike with his own design pipe. Yes he made them for the GPZ900R (900 Ninja here in the USA) and also the SUDCO Pipes are Hindle also. In Canada, Kawasaki used Hindle like Kawasaki USA uses Muzzy here. Brock is no come lately to the performance issues, but was a Racer Himself that went into the race business
