Carpenter motor, probably the real big one. Love the paint job. But for my $$$'s it's gonna be a turbo.....

marcellos, it appears that you removed your headlights and fabricated some tubes into ram air intakes? please elaborate on this.

So ,race gas I assume??? What kinda mph would it do with pump gas???what kind of whp could one expect on 91. I see alot of people saying run 89 octane, and I admit I'm a bit reluctant to go against what the factory recommends for a 12/1 motor and do it.

has anyone else noticed that the bike is almost a quarter mile LONG? thats one hell of a stretched swingarm. i wouldnt mind seeing the same setup on a stock wheelbase- probably almost as much fun as my zx-12. i was planning on stripping the plastics soon and having identical intakes fabbed up by my painter, while it gets the lime green treatment. this is something im going to have to research a bit- thanks osti :P

That's the way to make friends, calling people retarded. I guess your better than they are??

No I noticed the intakes and the extended swingarm. I figured people were more interested in the engine mods that aren't able to be seen, rather than the obvious stuff...

nice editing there zxlnt. i dont need friends online- ive got plenty of the REAL kind. you know, the ones who i actually hang out with- the TANGIBLE variety, not make-believe... know what im talking about? i dont need any fools as friends, therefore i will not speak kindly to those i deem to be a waste of my breath (or keystrokes). and as a matter of fact, i lost some good bikeland pals here recently, so i feel no remorse for the things that i say online. noobs never cease to amaze me. carry on.

I think they look pretty cool.. But unsure if it would add any HP ...I guess it would depend on how good the factory ram air is working ...If the stock ram air is under sized and over taxed the extra scoops maybe a help ...Smokin..

Countersteer,
The (scoops) mod looks great.
But with all the other modifications done to the motor who knows if its really an added benefit. I would be interested in someone trying them on a stock motored bike to see the gains.

Its the yellow paint and other bling mods that made it so fast.

I'll take three cans of that yellow paint and some cheap chrome if thats all I need to go fast. But I still like the mod if it makes the bike fast or not.

Maybe the new intakes were easier to route to a turbo inlet than the factory intake was? Did we ever get an answer to the turbo or no turbo question?

Sorry guys...great looking/running bike but not to impressive to me. We finally have a bike you can pull out of a crate put on bolt-on's and run 8's. I guess i'm one of the few who really dont care about wheelbase, i just want to see good 1/4 mile numbers...eventually you have to stretch to go fast anyway. I'm not to impressed with the cost of big bore kits over nitrous and turbo applications.
Intake tubes look good...but not sure how much they help. I do agree...i would like to see them on a stock bike to see how much it helps. I looked at my 14 and it's not a straight shot from the headlight back, so not sure what all was done to make them work.
