I'd love to go there also. My next long/moderate trip is going to be around Arkansas parks and scenic highways, then I'm taking the wife to Wyoming. Western Wyoming and Yellowstone are really amazing for someone like me that grew up in on the Gulf Coast.
That 2nd picture you took looks a lot like Lake Fremont in Wyoming, along the Wind River mountain range. Nice pics.

Phytrax - Let me know if you want to hook up in AR sometime. The group that I ride with does a few rides/year up there in the spring and fall. Mostly 3-day stuff where we ride up on Fri, ride around on Sat, then return home on Sun. We generally stay at the Queen Wilhelmina lodge in Mena or somewhere near Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village.
We are also planning on a partial trailer-trip next fall. We'll be trailering up to CO, then riding for about a week... Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, etc. Looking at those Tahoe pics, maybe we need to include that in the route! We were going to ride the entire thing, but decided we'd cover more ground if we trailered up from TX to CO first... getting out of Northwest Texas from the DFW area takes forever and is extremely boring. We'd also avoid the need of a rear tire while on the road - hopefully.
We rode to TX to NC and back via OK/TN/NC/KY/MO in September... that was our longest trip so far and it was a blast!! We are ready for more.

Flew over Yosemite yesterday but it's better scene from the ground.
Great pics and welcome to our forum.
