flame me I don't care.

Nuthin looks better on classic black than a nice set of chrome wheels.
As muchn as I'd like a set of CF wheels, they will never look as good as a set of chrome ones... like this!

probabaly the only thing that will be bling on my black bitch.
chrome wheels flashing the sunlight and black looks HOT!
Classic!

ohh yaeh baby!

lots a new junk and parts becoming avail. this winter me thinks

yeah I was thinkin carbon fiber, but they will be lost in a sea of black on a black bike.

Realistically it'll still be a fat girl compared to a liter bike for handling, so the improvement due to weight loss with CF not likely to be very noticable.

Not done yet... its the PLAN !
the ones pic'd on Ebay .

5 stage chrome...
deep cleen clear chrome, blemish free!

the companies that perform 3 stage chrome... cheap way and the chrome looks dull, and blemished.

do a tech search on chrome plating to get what your paying for $$.
More to it than most ppl. think.

I'd love to take this opportunity to flame you for the bling, but seeing how I'm riding on the puke brown factory wheels I can't knock yours no matter what they are!

Thats a good looking combination, Black and Chrome.
I've entertained the thought as well, but I dont like wiping on wheels.

but in the end you have a set of stock wheels. What did that cost? $750? You're already more than 1/2 way towards a decent set of wheels that are lighter.

Lighter > chrome

I thought I read some where that chroming aluminum wheels can make the aluminum more brittle and prone to failure.
There was a picture on one of the 'Busa boards that showed a rear chromed wheel that had massive cracks in the hub area it back in the spring.

Having a wheel fail at anything over 5 mph would really ruin your day!
