Chad ran 9.60's on his 600 when he rode for Kawasaki but...............He also had the factory race ecu and remember that's when they could run 2" of ground clearance instead of three. Plus he got to strap on almost 50 pounds of weight. He could leave just short of the rev-limiter.
I think Chip did a great job on the diary bike considering he hasn't been riding a no bar bike for quite a while.

Top Fuel Rider Korry Hogan came off his bike at the big end during second round Sunday in Gainesville. Apparently a spark plug came lose from the bike and electrocuted the body and Korry held on as long as he could until he had to bail. His only injury was few burns around his wrist and he bit his tongue. His first question was 'How fast did I go?' - he went 6.45 at 183.05

It's kind of funny how you can buy a sportbike off the show room floor and it doesnt make anywhere near the power of a fully tuned race bike. There is so much little shit you can do to tune bikes.....it's all a matter of how much $ you have and how much dyno time you get. Same thing for dragracing....You have race bikes or street bikes but not both...

Guys,
Chip did an amazing job jumping on my 14!
He had never even ridden it in the pits.... He didn't even ride it to the line.
We had it waiting for him to squeeze in an exhibition run.
I am writing an update to my Maxton report next week about Gainesville. The bike was exactly as we ran it at Maxton except we installed MR10 fuel because there was no MR9 at the track. No dyno time- just dump it in and go.
We will also have a video of the run with the update.
For now here are some numbers:
60 ft .......... 1.53
330 ft......... 3.96
1/8 ET....... 5.91
1/8 MPH.......126.0
¼ ET............9.04
¼ MPH.......155.69
Of course I will provide weather conditions and Chips personal stats.
