spark plug replacement Q
any tricks to pulling the spark plugs on the 14? I don't have the shop manual(Yet), but my partner needs his plugs pulled and cleaned/replaced. Pretty sure we fouled the plugs when we pulled the flies and added a map. I'm trying to clean them up, but also have the new plugs on hand if that doesn't do it.
After looking at mine, how do the plastic caps come off the top of the plugs? Just pull them straight up? Anyone know the gap for the new plugs? Hate to sound like a rookie, but I'd really hate to break something on his bike because I didn't use the manual. Manual is on order, but its not here yet.
thanks for the help, I just don't have the time to wait on the manual to get here.
Any chance someone could scan the pages referrring to the replacement procedures?
thanks in advance for the help

Well it's a major + if your hands slim , but the caps come off by twisting them back and forth while trying to pull them straight out .
Works for me!
The rest is up to you

Aside from the allens to remove various body work to access the plugs...
Just a 5/8ths spark plug socket, extension , and a ratchet (one that clicks when you barely turn is preffered) to pull the plugs is all you should need.
