Bike lift arrived!

Bike lift arrived last Friday!

Thought I would share this with those who don't frequent smackhouse

I am a discerning, customer, and only give props where due...
Must say this is one purchase that seemed to good to be true..
Turned out really good though!

I am very impressed with it.
Really good stuff!
Dealer shop quality!
Home / hobby price!
Simple, quick assembly, sturdy, and modular.
I bought the one with the atv extensions, for another $100... almost crazy not to get em for that price.
Identical set up as this.

without the 110" extension it is 84"...
like this

I don't need the front extension, and will not unless, I go more than 8" stretch swingarm!
It came with a jack and inserts too.

Great deal.
It doesn't take up any space as I just park one of the machines on it.

they're service and shipper was great, and FAST.
if it weren't for customs I would have got it in 6 days, from Indiana to Alberta -2500 miles!

anyone who wrenches, and is tired of laying on the floor, hunching over while workin on the bike, or detailing it will be in LOOOOVE!
For $ you can't go wrong...
shit, it only costs the same as a couple of good nights on the town when you really think about it!

I unloaded it by myself.
Just as you would remove a sofa from a pickup!
weighs about 500 lbs.

2 guys could do it no problem... I'm stubborn and didn't want to wait.

the exact same unit is being sold for around $700- $1300 at other places.
this thing is way better than the $300 ones from harbor freight

dubious - does it come with the little two wheel dolly that goes on the ramp end so you can easily move it around? I couldn't find anything about it on their website saying it either comes with it or can be ordered separately.

This is what I've been looking for one reasonably priced for a long time and I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on this one. Can you post up some pics?

Ya know, I have wanted a bike lift for about 25 years now, and everytime I see one it get's me all excited.

I actually looked pretty serious at the high end unit's back about 10 years ago when I realized that I don't like kneeling for 4 hours anymore, but I passed when I saw the $4-6K tag on them.

Please keep us posted on your opinions as you use it. Only problem I would have now since I sold my truck is I am pretty sure the 7" lowered height of the lift wouldn't clear the bottom of my car by about 3".

The only differences I see with mine and JSCARB2's is his is diamond plate, the foot pedal , and wheel chuck crank appear fancier.
Alot of the parts from Gregsmithequipment are listed as options, the same setup from them would have been about $270 more than I paid for mine.

Mine was $499, for the bike lift, front extension, and the jack.
full length with extension all the way out would be long enough for the zx14 and a 24 INCH extended swingarm LOL.
I do not use the extension, and unless I go with 8" over extended swingarm will never need it!

I have an atv so, I bought the atv side extension kit for another $100.

So total includes everything as seen in the ad I posted for $599.
I would think anyone in the continental US should get it delivered for around $150 or less.

They charged me $225 to ship to northern Alberta.
I had some extra charges because I had to pay a customs broker, and pay the shipper to recrate after customs inspected it...

Not the shipper or dealers fault.... just part of being a Canadian.

I will post some pics tomorrow.

I have moved/ dragged it around in the garge some by myself, It moves pretty easily.

A couple of friends have come by, and want some now, I may become a distributor !

YES
I AM THAT IMPRESSED !
