Tracdynamics or McIntosh swingarm?

I'm gonna get an extended swingarm for my ZX14. The question is, which should I get, and why? Is there anybody here that is a "dealer" to get a better price??

I need something that will be adjustable from 6" over too 12" over, braced, 2 1/2 lb NOS bottle bracket, air, and chain guard.

Also roaringtoyz.com makes them. I'm not familiar enough to know if theirs meets the specs you mentioned or not.

Trac arms are sweet...Thats what I will be getting when I get my 14...

There are so many out there now, what to pick???...Let's see...

Trac arm...

McIntosh/Brock arm...Looks like a Trac arm to me???

Velocity...Looks like a Trac arm to me???

Muzzy...uses your arm

Coby Adams...uses your arm

Spencer Cycles...uses your arm

It's a good thing Im not on that other popular motorcycle site because I would get in trouble for mentioning the above guys products if they are not paying advertisers

Yea, did you notice that??? Hmmmm.....everybody over there wanted me to buy something other than a Trac or Mcintosh. What's up with that?? I'll buy whatever I damn well please. I was just looking for advise on who has what, and how they like it.

I do know that a Trac arm is lighter than an OEM stock ZX12 arm!!!

The arm to have when 60" Pro Street Bike started was a Trac arm, then they put on the Trac club foot...Now everyone is making arms and as you see some are copying the Trac arm...That must mean that the Trac arm is real good if a few other fabricators are copying!!!

They're all around the same price with all the options, so it's just a matter of what you like...

A cheaper option may be to send your stock arm out and have it streched. I just sent a ZX6R arm out to this place for a 2" to 8" adjustable. http://www.thompsonscustomcycles.com/tccwebsite_025.htm
Macintosh charges about the same.
