GXSR Turbo jumped me
On the Loop an hour ago, too much traffic.
Down to 2nd gear I jumped him back, too congested to go to 3rd. He came past after I slowed.
How much hp does a base turbo literbike have? Stock wheelbase also.
I had just taken my leathers off. Jeans, boots and jacket only:
Traffic and jeans, not a good race combo 4 me.

Base liter bike turbo is about 230Hp on pump gas.... You wouldn't stand a chance on just a modded 14.

That's what I thought.
It seemed rough, and fast.
Can they go low 9s with stock wheelbase?

Like everything else it depends on the rider.. A sorry rider could probably run 12s

A stock wheelbase turbo Liter bike 
I think the 14 would have an advantage with it's longer wheelbase .
Now once you both got going that's another story

i got squashed last sunday by a stage 2 velocity busa, so dont feel bad
i flagged this guy down on one of the notorious straightaways- i could see this huge bastard a mile away- he pulls over to the side so i cant see his dump pipe and we hit it. i did keep up pretty well though

He could ride but he mite have needed a couple of gears to catch me from a 50 roll, since he gave me the jump.
I'm wondering from a stop, me, or my buddy w/ extended arm mite take him in the 1/4 at least.
At least it happened so fast he didn't have time to hide his dump pipe.
Countersteer, maybe we go find him tonite. Could be fun.
That is alot of weight and hp advantage to deal with.

Black or blue not silver '03-'04, but things were happening very quikly, trying to exchange email addresses, hitting rev limiters and all.
Closed coarse tonite. Absolutely. Full gear.
How is ur gear situation SteveW? What kind of back protector, leathers, etc do u ride with?

the reason i asked was because some guy with gsxr 1000 black and siver wanted to race me in north side of town heavily modified i heard from couple of guys in the area that his is turbo too. he got next too me and passed me open throttle almost all the way with holding the clutch and then when he got ahead of me looked back see if i was coming, i did not.
well , i was in woodlands parkway speed limit 45 miles.

you should be able to look at a bike and KNOW if it is worth racing

as you houstonian know that we had A nice day yesterday for ride and two of my neighbours one own a 05 r1 and one 06 gixxer 1000, told me to go to rankin road behind the st. james the titty bar place( zero traffic road) they like to practice wheelies.( i just watched no stunts from me!!) i met a kool guy owens a 02 hayabusa blue and black turbo 365 hp. wow it sounded great. he did couple rollons just for fun , wow, that son of a gun pulled hard
he said he had a liitle problem with boost in cold weather. coolest guy on busa i met very down to earth, he asked bunch of questions about my zx14 and said "nice bike you got".

i have not been in south west side of town for a while but one of the guys i met sunday said that bunch of people gather around west park and fondren on wednesday nites.

You guys are asking for a spanking racing turbo liter bikes and Busa's with naturally aspirated 14's.
you might get the jump in aroll on if they don't know hoew to ride, as turbo needs to spool up.

They are refering to waste gate dump pipe, and usually an open exhaust.
turbines reduce/ smooth exhaust pulses, therefor some don't run silencers/ or mufflers.
2nd stage velocity is a type of turbo system sold by Velocity racing.
