New Dyno Numbers - Cam Gear Adjustment 183hp/108 torque....Yosh exhaust....

Here are my numbers after todays minor tweaking of the cam timiing. Some fat and lean spots but it's back to stock cam timing. Just wanted to see how much more ponies I could gain by toying with cam timing. Original custom map conditions had the AF between 12.8 - 13.1 Exhaust tone was much more high pitched with the tweaked cam gear timing...pretty wicked. Probably would be close to 190 with a Brock's meg.

I may just borrow a Brocks meg from a friend to see if I can hit 190....with a tad bit more cam timing adjustment I'm sure it'll be fairly easy to attain.....

Bently, you could have clicked the edit button Ohh yeah good way to post whore

Smokin, when you were on the dyno drags what was your wheelbase???...I also noticed that in the pic you were still sliding the clutch as Tony had the clutch out already!!!

So, with the longer wheelbase and sliding the clutch you lost top speed!!!

stock wheel base...That was the first 1/4 mile run that i red lighted on and run a 10. something.... I didn't hold the rear brake on as told but the dyno guy... That caused the drum to roll long before the light came on .... #2 1/4 mile run was the 8.48 run and i did it right ... 3 rd run was the 1/2 mile run and i hit the limiter in two gears and short shifted 4 th gear ... We only got 3 runs and i fucked up two of them.....Part of the problem was the sun behind us and you could not even see the light when they came on ...Didn't matter because it was just for fun and we all know the numbers where Bull shit ..

I picked up 2hp and and 2ftlbs of torque...can squeeze out probably 3-5hp more if I get radical on the cam degreeing. Doing so will take the all around hp and torque away...top HP is not what I'm after so I brought it back to stock degree numbers.

BTW - "Thread-jacking" is to be expected....no one is immune, so "jack" away!
