I drove my Z06 every time we had clear roads from ice or water in the winter. Can't seem to get bundled enough to do that on the bike, though.

Geeze, maybe we should ask fish to start a Z06 forum for us?

Yeah I'm for that. Or we could all just meet up on the Vette Z06 forum....

Funny- do you recognize "Panchop" from LABusa?--- I ran into him on the mid year Corvette forum when I was doing some research for my 66 Coupe. I think he's a 12 guy.

Corvette Z06 is a great car (C5), it is one of just a few cars that remind me of a bike, it does exactly what I tell it, it has wonderful brakes (for a GM), has awesome performance for the money, handles wonderfully, gets the looks, and is comfortable. I have had quite a few American muscle, and there is not much out there that competes with the Z06 in all areas. We won't even bring up the heritage of the corvette. I am also a camaro guy, which also has some heritage, we shall see what is up with the new Camaro.

I really want a C6 Z06, but they are few and far between right now in this area.

Saw 8 Z06's lined up for museum delivery in Bowling green a couple of weeks ago... it was a pretty sweet sight. I think they had something like 12 total '07 vettes lined up to be delivered that day... the museum guy said they were being overwhelmed with deliveries this year. Must be nice...

8-day ride from Texas to NC to visit the Dragon and back. The return trip routed us up through Kentucky, MO, then back through AR. Fun was had by all!

The copper (orange-something) color was my favorite...

Here are several more, mixed in with a few "regular" vettes

That's too bad, maybe consider living in year round friendly part of the country.
Can't complain about the weather here in Cali.

Oh, you mean 'strip', not track.

I've run mine at a couple tracks so far - SCCA Solo II (autocross) at Bremerton and just goofing off at Pacific Raceway (Seattle). Nothing like working it through turn 2, feeling the back end nibbling and squirming as you push the girl around. For real fun try an autocross course. It's cheap, and you get to use your Z06 for it's intended purpose.

All this talk has me missing my 04 TR Z06. Oh wait...now I remember the part about me taking it to the dealership after every 2-3 times I drove it. 15 months of ownership and then Lemon Law'd! Gotta get the sour taste out of my mouth.
