10-4. "Assumed" you were talking about the visible right side in the photos. Left side is a good point. This particular 14 has a custom aluminum billet side stand that is beefier than the stocker. So it kinda takes your eye away from the area the mid-pipe went through.
stevewft - just to be sure you understand, my facility (Area P) is on the west coast in Southern California. You'll be visiting Roaring Toyz which is in Florida. We are completely different companies. Have a fun and safe trip down there. Now if you're really that hardcore, you are welcome to continue on with your ride and visit us here in SoCal....

How to turn a good handling fast bike into an evil handling cruiser bike..................I guess that is known as progress...................!!

I appreciate it for what it is and the creativity that went into it. Not sure I'd want to ride it fast enough to really appreciate the "handling" (pro or con... . KMC wanted something unique and they definetly got it. It's actually kinda cool to putt around on. And it definetly gets more attention than any bike I can recall recently. Again, keeping in mind it's primary function is looking cool and pulling the trigger in a straight line. Though it has been many, many years since I rode a Pro Stock drag bike, it reminds me of one. Even with the single front rotor and PM caliper, it actually stops pretty good.
I have no idea if it would be faster or slower at a drag strip than a stocker. I think one of the drag race type guys on the forum would be better suited to comment. Actually, I'll ask it: With the way this is set-up (by looking at it), would you go faster/quicker in the 1/4 mile than on a box stocker?

Added weight and size of the rear wheel , and chrome might slow you down.. But what have you done to the motor? NOS? These are added things that might help even it out

i was interested in this fat tire mod when it FIRST came out- originally offered by trac dynamics. i had spoke to someone at trac about this and i was told that it was no good for dragging. the rear tire sucks for anything but moderate crusing- not exactly an ideal tire. there are much better tires available for drag or road race applications... this is a chopper tire guys. apparently traction would be a problem in high hp and high stress situations- ie: racing. and yes, the rear wheel weighs a ton.
BUT it would be kinda cool to have a fat slick on the back- like one of those top fuel funny bikes... assuming that you just want to go in a straight line. i dont think a kickstand is necessary for that bike either.

...so its a bar-hopper sportbike/muscle-cruiser style...an NOS chainsaw that shreds the idea envelope to pieces...it has its place as most customs do...nice to to see the details...probably nice to be seen on...probably way fun just to ride and get all the attention...do any bonified gearheads scoff at those monster trucks?...probably not if they're true gearheads...call this a monster sportmusclebike...I'm with Kerry on the attention quotient...chicks dig it...I'm pretty sure that Chuck Norris would give this a ____________ “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men

Chuck Norris must have been riding the green sister bike to this one because its motor is already blown. All show, no more go.

I've been planning to do just that. I've already posted up in here asking if anyone is interested in joining me on a ride from Tampa to Roaring Toyz shop in Sarasota. No one is. I'll offer some friends I ride with outside of this forum, but regardless myself and my girl on her 'busa will be heading your way so look out.
I'm scared to bring my bike anywhere near bling chrome or billet, but I need to pick up a strap while I'm there! I look forward to meeting you all.
Thanks, Steve
I'll go with you Steve. Exoticycle is near by so we can even stop there and say hi to Johnny and Victor. Let me know when you wanna do this.

For drag racing I would also worry about the the Intemediate or "Jack Shaft" set up to transmit power to the rear wheel. The tire is so wide that there is a jack shaft in the middle of the left side of the swing arm. The countershaft sprocket sends power to the gear on the jack shaft and then there is a gear farther to the outside of the shaft which has a second chain that carries power to the rear wheel. (in order to get the chain far enough out to clear that fat tire). I would think that, that would be the wink link and just couldnt trust it under a serious launch if the tire actually did hook. Especially with the torque that the 14 puts out, and having to use it to get that much mass (the rear wheel and tire combo) moving from a dead stop. Just my $.02

Steve, call before you go by Roaring Toyz. I was in there last week and they said that they were moving their shop. I don't know when, but it sure would suck to arrive at a vaccant building.
