Rich Map/No Flies???????
pulled the flies about 2 weeks ago at night got a map for the power commander and it seemed to run rich and stumble or miss below 3500RPM after that it would clean out and run rich, after about 10 miles or so after it must have warmed up it seemed to run perfect and really rip.
after that the weather was warm 80-90 and it seemed like it ran perfect today was a little cooler in the 60s, I started it up and it ran so rich and smelled of gas so strong that it felt like if I lit a match in the garage it would blow up, it was smoking like crazy to for about 10 minutes and wouldnt run clean below 3500 it kept stumbling and missing after it warmed up for about 10 minutes it stopped smoking and ran better but still had a slight miss, it seems spot on in the midrange and runs clean and pulls like a freight train, but the last day or so i've been thinking its a little rich down low and a little lean up top, it seems like the power peaks between 8000-9000 and i'm wondering if I richened it up on top it would rev a little stronger............ANY OPINIONS, I'm confused, i always thought it needed to be richer for the cooler weather??????

It'll run leaner in cooler weather and richer on warmer days.
Spend the money on a custom map, it'll save you a few moments of frustration of a borrowed or zero map.
good luck

Is the map you loaded for the same exhaust + no flies and fuel type as on your bike ?
A Custom map would be well worth the money.
