Melissa Day (Lucky12/Mark's wife) worked for a company that made the panels that go on those machines when Dale died. At the time of his accident, they were in production of a new batch of "Dale panels". Te morning after the Daytona race, she was getting calls from people offering thousands for just a panel. To the best of my knowledge, none of the newly printed panels were ever distributed or sold after his death, by instruction of Dale's widow.

It would be tempting to go there late one night, back up a trailer and "liberate" that machine. It would easily get $5,000 or more on E-Bay.

I neither claimed to like "it" or that I was "noble". My point is simple. Trash to some, valuable to others.

In the case of Dale paraphernalia, it's diversity of buyers and it's multi million dollar distribution seems to indicate your in a minority. When "Fish paraphernalia" grows to a similar level, we will really know what "trashy" is.

Thanks for posting the pics, ya canadian cockbite. I got to see some racing yesterday (sunday). I left just bafore 7 pm last night and it looked like it was gonna be a late night. I drove to richmond,va and i am at a friends house. I've got some pics to post and i will post them when i get back to fla on wed.
It was nice to meet some new people and to see some of my friends. What about vegas Dick_Antlers?
