Need advised on shipping bike
I'll be moving from Louisiana back to California in a few months and need some advise. Have any of you guys shipped your bikes across the country?? Who did you find was the most and least reliable??
I had a fair experience having a busa shipped from Florida to Louisiana, but this is much further. I need to ship my 2006 ZX14, and my 2005 ZZR1200.
Same question about shipping cars. I have 3 cars, one I'll drive, and two need to be shipped.

i can help you on cars but not for the bike.
since i work for honda dealership in houston i have a name and number for these folks that we have been working with.
name :accelerated services,llc
centennial, colorado
phone: 720-200-3100
normally takes them 7 to 10 days to pick up your cars and another 5 to 10 days to ship to your new destination depends on where you located.
good luck. shawn
you can ask them about bike too. i am not sure if they do or not.

There should be links to reliable, insured shippers, plus if you're a member you'll enjoy the discounts.

You might want to look at some ebay auctions to get a good idea of shippers...
Here is one link I found: http://das.ebay.com/

Did I mention I didn't want to pay a fortune?? I was thinking maybe $1000 for both bikes, total, and about $2000 total for two cars.

It's inevitable that you'll pay a fairly high premium for what you're trying to do...
