I'd advise taking it to a dealer, since you don't understand how to read trouble codes off of what's pretty typical since oh, 2000 or so...

If he has bad ecu ground or power connection it will not read a code number, just "efi error"

1st thing mentioned in the manual in efi trouble shooting section

I know the manual say's this but remember that if you have more than one key on the key ring (or close proximity to each other) when you turn the ignition on, it will also give the same error.

Simultaneously, press "reset" and "mode" together. That is how you retrieve codes. What are the code(s) numbers?

Service Code 24 - Speed Sensor: Speed sensor needs to send 4 output signals to the ECU via one c/shaft revolution.

Recheck your wiring if you pulled the cover, or wired in a unit which is looped with the drive sprocket area? Pinch, poor ground, disconnected?

FI Light flashes on as soon as the key is turned.

Bike throws code before it starts.

That's a Hall sensor........they go out sometimes............
If you know sombody with another bike you can trade to see if it does the trick...or go buy one.

Have you changed the front sprocket? - Pull the cover to make sure the nut is still there :-)

Try 1984 as in the ZX750E or better known as the 750 Turbo.

Ok, guys this is a custom show bike with probably 15-20K worth of work.
IF you don't want your stock bike going back to the dealers, don't suggest it to others.
Really doubt they would do w.arranty work, as most dealers around here find
some reason not to. Even if he took it in the wheel or pipe would void the warranty.
I really appreciate the one who are tring to help.
Can you Automotive history teacher find another thread.

trolling and flaming doesn't belong with assistance, and repair threads....

No one would appreciate it ,If it was anyone of us and our thread was hijacked.
