Should I buy one or will I be disappointed?

Depends on your expectations? Why not test ride and decide for yourself?

If you want a bike that is very light and very responsive handling wise, get a liter bike.
If you want a comfortable, gentle , powerful distance bike get the 14.
The 14 will not tire you out like the literbikes, it has a calm powerful torquey demenour, rather than the twitchy, hectic, busy feeling of literbikes, but is not as responsive as they are either....
If you want wheelies buy a literbike
If you want to drag race, especially under less than ideal traction conditions buy the 14.

If you want to double up, buy the 14.
If you want to turbo it, the monoframe makes things more difficult.
If you want torque and like to torque it around town rather than revving at 7000 + rpm, the 14 is much better suited.

If you want to race 1/2 mile .... for sure get the 14!
the literbikes are close in accelleration, but the more disatance you have to race, the more distance you will put on them.

If you are a heavy dude, and want to race get the 14, it makes nearly 30 ft lbs more torque than the literbikes! 110 vs 80 almost 40% more torque.

BTW if you gear the 14 to the same top speed as the literbikes at redline in top gear, it will absolutely annihalate and stomp them.
16-43... 17/41 is stock!
Pull the flies, and mount up Brocks or Ti force exhaust... they make the most power.

If you want to pose buy a hayabusa...
were tired of hearing about posers who can't ride getting blown away by other bikes...
its bull shit, don't beleive it!

any more questions?

Times up!
You better buy one, plenty used ones out there. Saw 3 14's in my area priced from $8200 -$9000 and these are "or best offer" numbers.

I'm 44 years old and after crashing my Triumph thruxton into a deer decided I wanted a nice sport touring kinda bike with some balls and plenty of ground clearence. After a bunch of reading I settled on the 14. Took it out on my 2nd ride yestarday - 230 miles through every kind of road, country, freeway, highway, town, twisties - everything. I'm freaking thrilled. Couldn't be happier. Get the bike.
