Drag Racer $1000.00 off MSRP question - good price?
Who got the $1000 off on the '06s? I guess there is only 100 of these to be taken advantage of every year? My chances maybe slim from what I'm told - anyone know the whole rundown on the "application"?
Anywho, what was everyone paying for their brand new ZX-14's?
Dealer called me today, said if I ran their name all over the bike I could get the bike for $10,700 with a possible $1000 off if I was selected for the drag racer discount. I'm also going to use the bike for bonneville - so, maybe I can push my way into the deal.
I'm not sure if I want to sign onto a $10,700 deal if I can just buy a modified (already) ZX-14 for less than $10,000.

i paid 11,000 with 4 year warranty, + new york sales tax. 12200 total.
i bought and rode her home july 1, when there were 3 14s on the floor. dealers should be trying to off remaining stock as 2007's should be rolling in shortly. the all new 2007 in white w/ flames should be a hot seller (no pun intended)

Look around for folks selling their 14s. I've seen $8K - $9500 and that's in either stock or with mild mods already and less than 1000 miles on 'em. Deals are out there on used 14s already.

They gave me 6,000 trade in for a bike I paid 6,600 for (cbr954), 700.00 of list and a 200.00 helmet credit. I had to shop between two different dealers in town.
