Special pistons & connecting rods
Hi, I'm looking for special pistons&connecting rods like Wiseco/Carillo. In Europa it's hard to find used sets. So I thought to give it a try over here. Oh yeah it's for a 11year old ZX-11 D-model with standard motor and this machine has a 185HP crank, not fine tuned yet ... without turbo. On the maiden run, the engine was blown 'cause of the lean fuel/oxygen mixture. So the mods on the second motor will be: stronger pistons&connecting rods, Conrad by-pass and better fuel:oxygen with Wideband O2.
If anyone knows where to get fair-priced pistons&rods like Wiseco/JE/HSC3/Vertex/Carillo, please let me know; you'll make me very happy.
The trick ..... a Mercedes kompressor.
