Well, time to put the puzzle together.
So, What do we know ?
We know that KLEEN system induces fresh air in the headers and that air mixed with unburnt gas will throw flames;
We know that the ECU is cutting gas when tps is 0%, so increasing fuel is not an issue because it does nothing.(more on that later)
We know these two factors will produce backfiring or decell poping?
Am I right so far?????
So, first thing is to block or remove the KLEEN system.
Done that, also I've checked and re-tighten everything, still backfires when hitting the 3,5k rpm.
We also know that 3,5k rpm is when fuel kicks back in, but, let me say, that I had my PC with 30% in the 0% column (from 5500rpm to 2500rpm) and the guys who where behind me told me it was smelling gas when I decell.
So, if I have done nothing wrong there goes the theory that the bike cuts back ALL fuel above 3500rpm in 0% TPS.
Reduced that to 14% (between 5500 and 3750) and there's no smell of gas whatsoever.
Now if I put, let's say, -50% between 3500 and 3000rpm / 0% TPS it should cut most fuel that the ECM is trying to pump to the engine. Better, if I put also that value in the 2% column at the same rpm (since the highest rpm you can do is about 2750 @ 2% TPS) most of the backfire and popping is gone.
So, no fuel and no air, and best of all, no popping or backfire and I manage to get my GPS working.
Hope this helps
If you try this way just let me know the results. My settings are: no flies, PCV with autotune, K&N air filter, Leovince slipons, custom headers (same as the Akrapovic 4-1 but 4-1-2)
Best regards
Bruno

Here is the answer: we are “smarticle” and cure this 100% for customers with our exhaust systems that also use this:

Decel Pop Eliminator ZX-14 (06-09)

You can use the product yourself, but you will need a custom mapand I see another item you are using which adds to your decel pop problem.

Best of luck,
