Anyone Beat This ?

My friend Rob ran 207mph on his ZZR1400 last Sunday at JD9, Woodbridge, UK. My 1400, photo below, ran 205.4mph. Are there any 1400's that have faster (genuine) recorded top speeds yet ?

____________
Candy Thunder Blue 2006 ZZR1400
Stock wheelbase
Max: 205.4 mph in 1.25 miles

2012 ZZR1400 in Golden Blazed Green
Brock CT Full System. etc
Max: 203.1 in 1 mile (so far)

Awesome speeds! Congrats! That TiForce looks nice on there.

205 Mph how did you bypass the speed limiter ??? Let us know please... Oh and my tuner has tested 4 pipes on both of our 14's. And believe it or not it looks like the TiForce is going to make the most HP. A few pipes have a little better mid range. But over all it looks like the Ti is the way to go. I will have to test a Akco first and then make the final decision. Please let me know about bypassing the speed limiter please...............

What gearing do you have on it?

Any mods other than the ones that are obvious?

ZX1400A6F,
Just replace your 17 tooth front sprocket with an 18, limiter will be by-passed.

BobC,
That is great numbers on the 14, you guys done well. I read where the conditions were favorable for a change.
I haven't heard of anyone running over 200 here yet.

Dan,
will you be at Maxton in September. I have completed set-up, awaiting the arrival of my new leathers - then all should be ready to go...... if things go well then I should be there.

The mod's on our bikes were as follows :

TiForce system
Power Commander with dyno' set-up
Speedo Healer
18 tooth sprocket
Lowered front and rear, mirror's off
(Neither of us had removed secondary 'flies, therefore launching at 7000rpm and nailing it)

We did around 25 runs each over the weekend. It didn't come good right from the start, we had to work at it and wait for the conditions to be right. The Saturday wind was from the side and I had a few run's in the low to mid 190's and one recorded at 128.5 when I shut off because of rabbits on the runway, coasting the last half mile. Just 128 but I felt like I could've got off and pushed it faster LOL. Also got some entertaining wheelspin on the damp runway when it rained on Saturday, not to mention stopping at the other end not knowing how much grip there was. The meeting was abandoned early on Saturday because of the dangerous side winds. On Sunday afternoon it came good, finally, with a tail wind. Most of the rider's at JD9 agreed that it was the best meeting yet. The weather God's were kind to us, the forecast had not been good.

I only saw a couple of people with still cameras. It's a small meeting, not many spectators since it's on a military airfield. Video would be great.

BobC - very nice! Did you make those runs with that huge plate and rear fender on it??? I would think it would be even more aerodynamic without 'em!!!

Yes 14black I removed the plate but left the tail intact. Here's a crop of an image by photographer Jeff Perkins showing how it was.
Going past the paddock at this point, just hooked 3rd, speed probably about 130.
