change of mind

after lowering dosage of pain meds i ordered 1416 kit with custom cams, will undercut tranny while down along with some other perks. should range between 225 and 235 rwhp. if everything stays on time should be comlpete in 3 to 4 weeks. that allows 2 weeks recover from operation and another two weeks as ill let my old man do break in milage. should be ready for mapping in first or second week of oct. lucky that guy couldnt get cash by this weekend or it would of been sold.

You do realize you will have to completely remove the engine, and split the cases to bore it out? The cylinders are not removable from the case. You will have to split them, then send the upper case/cylinder for boring, and re-platting. Don't wanna burst your bubble. I looked at doing that, but when I saw that I couldn't remove the cylinders, I said fuck that. Gonna just go with a turbo. Alittle more money, but a lot less headache.
Let us know how it goes, and send pics.

Well, there must be a crank and some rods in the works, usually JE builds pistons for engine builders.
Where's the rest of the Kit?

I would imagine that a crank kit is in the works from the usual suspects.

I'm not partial to chromed aluminum. The aluminum on my tank is hard and brittle enough as it is, perhaps some "chrome" paint is in order. :P
