Preliminary Dyno reports I never did a run stock on my bike, but the number with my minor mods were not so impressive to me. I had a run of 176rwhp, with 116 pnds of torque. I am assuming that on a dyno the ram-air has no affect. I was told to add 10rwhp to those numbers for actual HP to account for the "air flow" not available on the dyno. Anyone who would actually know, please tell me if this is accurate. The torque was quite impressive at 116 compared to other dyno's I've read on the 14 being at 106-108.
When I see the report, I'll try to post it for you guys.
Now they are putting on the rear sprocket (42t) and changing the oil. Anyone dynoing there 14 let me know how this compares.

That is more TQ than my 1397 makes so i would guess the people who dyno'ed your bike are just plain FUBAR and the ram air on the street won't make 10rwhp or at least we don't know this about the 14 yet.
Find a new shop because your rwhp tp rwtq is a bit off...

Yup...was my 1st impression 2...get the chart and post it...then we can see what the issue is...sounds like they made some boo boo's there....if you really are at 116 RWHP...I'd say that's pretty impressive and fuck the HP number. Remember this though...on DynoJet 250, you'll make one set of numbers...and as an example on a PowerFlo, those numbers will be down at least 3-5% just because they are more conservative in their ratings. Lots of tuners us DJ equipment. Temps, humidity and environment all play a big part in the final numbers. If you had done a basline run, you'd have more info and would be able to see your real gains.
One more thing...lots of people post STD numbers which at 176 SAE will read over 182 STD...and they don't tell you that...Brock's charts were all STD...
When I posted my 10R and my Busa runs, they were all SAE. STD is considered by many to be bullshit...ask your tuner if it was SAE or STD....it makes a big difference.

Mine made 185hp and 107 pounds of torque...SAE...smoothing factor 5

SAE corrects for altitude, etc. In essence, it hides more stuff than STD does. That's how a bike at 1500 feet will make the same SAE hp as a bike at sea level.

Ok I need to fax this to someone who can post it. My scanner sucks.
My dyno has spikes in it and they said it would burn out on the dyno and cause it to spike. My rear tire was fubar. I will try to scan it again, or maybe just type the numbers.

They (your tuner's) sound a bit whackd if you ask me...:P
BTW, worn tires will give you bigger numbers on the Dyno...just an FYI. Seriously, it doesn't sound like your tuner knows what he's talking about dude...worn tire spiking the Dyno? Can you see the belts on the tire?
