Fun Bike Drags The Sacramento Fun Bike Drags are coming to Sacramento Raceway October 14th and 15th.
This is the biggest and best ALL MOTORCYCLE DRAG RACING EVENT on the West Coast.
There are classes for all from ET classes to Super Comp,Fast Bike and this year Steve Rices Top Alcohol Event, A bunch of Harley Classes all the way up to 6 second Nitro Harley's. It's a 2 day event with Pro qualifying on Saturday and eliminations on Sunday. They usually have a bike show/swap meet that is mainly Harley oriented but all bikes are welcome and encouraged to race. All Pay Outs are paid at the track in cash so there is no need to worry about getting paid. This is somewhere around the 15th year for this event and should not be missed.
Should think about doing this, It is a blast, for even import bikes, Full Stands, Nothing but dragbikes and streetbikes having fun

Yes, its the 15th year. I was at the very first one and the turn out was phenomenal. The advertised it well, had a great turnout, and the stands were pretty full with just spectators. It was a two day event, and was great fun. I won both days of Street ET and made some good money. If memory serves me they even had the local news out there for some tv coverage.
If you anywhere near Sac, this is a must race event.

Ill be there with my 14 (since it is my local track...for now) dont know if ill be racing or not (since my race bikes motor isnt finished yet). By the way on the weekend before...Stocktons drag strip is Re-opening on Oct 7th (about 45 minutes south of Sacramento) Kingdon Raceway. Last race run there was in 1972. As of this moment bikes wont be allowed to run on the first day (insurance) but if enough bikes make a showing and the event goes off without any problems..then motorcycles will be allowed to run in the future (one of the event organizers is a motorcyclist). See you on the 15th Bronze...you gotta tell me what/who to look for. By the way I do get up there on wednesdays to practice quite often also.
