I was one of the first to have this happen to me and post a warning on the site. I got the pan and had it installed in three days. Unless it is on back order which I doubt for a part like that. I don't usally like to get involved with recommending places to people. If it goes wrong then I feel bad. But on this one I will help out a fellow 14 owner. Brother no one has ever been so nice with awsome prices as the place I have been using for years. It's called Honda House and also Kawasaki House they are in Pittsburg Penn. Their number is 1-412-431-5878. Just ask for justin. This kid has spent up to an hour looking at micro phish for me several differnt times very nice and patient. Oh and the oil pan is only $140 so don't let anyone tell you different OK. Let me know how it goes I'm sure you will like them.

i broke the protective tab (haha) off my pan on a bump...we need a pan with a inverted screw so the pan would be flat on the bottom.

Gadson and all those guys are running flat pans. I just don't know where they got it from. They may have had then made. Meaning one offs. Your lucky you only broke the tab. I punched the oil bolt right into the pan. It still had a small circle of the pan attached to it lol. Can't believe I didn't go down. When I pulled away from the parking lot thinking I scratched something. She whipped back and forth violently. My inner leg was killing me from saving it lol. Buy the pan you nut. New 14 riders need to relize that the bolt and it's protector are the absolute lowest point of the bike with stock pipes on.

if it'f like the 12 you can gain some clearance by having the tap removed and i actually grounded
the head of the blt to half thickness.
A better option would be the MADMIKE mod where he moves the drain fron the bottom to the front.
Send him a PM he is very reasonable.
do a search for oil pan on the zx12 board.
