I'm on my way to getting well over 4K miles on my rear tire. I'll go way too fast, and I love the twisties, but I usually accelerate fairly moderately from low speeds. I'm guessing I'll get over 6K'ish from it.

I pulled both my tires at 4490 miles. Huge flat spot across the rear and slick down the middle. I commute 62 miles per day and play on Sundays. The Road Attacks are on and we will see how they do.

Coming up to 1300 miles now. Twenty top speed runs and 2 hours on the dyno' have meant the centre tread wear is keeping up with the edges which I usually scrub on the roads. They are about half worn but I'll change them as soon as the tread depth goes below 3mm on the rear and when I feel the front shoulders wear and begin to lose turn-in.
Tyres are safety equipment. There are no prizes for the highest mileage.

Mine went 3450 and had some pretty hard burnouts on it. Can tell my pilot power will go longer I'm guessing 5000. And I ride hard in my opion. About 1/8 inch chicken strips and alot of hard roll-ons

I'm at 2700 with a few nights of burnouts at the strip included in the mileage, tire is about shot. I have 2 rear Pilot Powers and 1 front on the way, I can't wait to trash these tires that are on the bike anyway! Front tire is fine/like new, I'm not the stuntin "stoppie" type anyway. Not that I question whether the front brakes would allow for such a thin\g hehe

Ok...who are the pussy's here with 6K+ miles on the stock tire? (I know it ain't me or Dorito...) Ever get it out of 1st gear?
WTF? Who can get 6K miles on the stock tire? You should be riding a PussyWing, not a 14. :P:P:P:P:P
I couldn't get 6k out of it if I rolled it downhill with the engine off.
Matt...now you can see where this is going...

I have 3000 on it, and I'm going to need new tires soon. I don't burn out, I do however ride high speeds. My tires are wearing evenly to the edge.

3800 km on the first tire, and bike was stock for 1/2 of those miles.
2000 km each for next 2 stock tires, no burnouts just constant scuffing and some spinning.
High speed definately was a major contributing factor to the last one... all high way miles.
38 psi allways, on all of them

From pushing it in the corners...

Look at the sides on the rear tire...think he can ride? Notice the lack of tread on the sides...

No roads around here that would permit riding her bent over like that.
More than the belly pan would have some road rash if anyone tried that where I live.
That bike been to the track?

I believe it was Sport Rider or one of the top mags saying that the belly pan scrathes first. His was all worn off like that one lol. Damn those guys are leaning hard. I'm not ready for that yet. Although my boots have smoked off the ground a few times lol. My stock tires didn't last to long after 6 dyno runs for tuning. And now that I have it extended fan the clutch just a tiny bit in second and it leaves a black strip through all of second then third lmao. So they seem to burn up pretty good in general hard riding conditions. Depends on the rider. But getting 6K out of them. I could never do that. Dubious same here allot of high speed highway riding as well as twistys. We don't have roads like you guys do but I'm always searching lol. I am hoping to get on the track on a open track day. I will only go out if I get a chance to talk to whoever will be on the track with me. Meaning the 600 flight group lol. I would tell them I'm just out for fun so pass me on the inside only as I will be tooling around the outside lol.

1300 miles so far, just fast road use, both tyres in good shape, but 1st 600 miles were breaking in.
The next set of tyres will probably reflect mileage better.

I go about the same mileage
No drag strips for me...
I guess I have a heavy hand, 6500 km and 3rd BT014 was toast.
Will see how the Pirreli Strada's hold up!
I like the steeper front profile on the strada, the bike feels way more responsive, although has lost some stickiness, I'll crank up the rear preload a little and see how more weight on the front feels.
Cold out today, and front did feel a little slippery in the rain, more heat in the tire would have helped.
I'm running 36 PSI front and rear.

That would be me on the way to 6K. Not there yet. I'll ignore the attack comment, considering knowledge of the past...Runs great. A lot of highway riding will do that. One doesn't have to be juvenile all the time to ride well. Just a street rider.
Again, why the hostility? Does my mileage bother you that much? Really? I suppose that's just more..."color," I believe you called it.
BTW, 'cause I know you'll care, I'm only getting about 37 mpg, avg.
