Here is a pic from the side. I will get you one from the bottom as soon as the battery on my camera is charged. Stevewfl is correct about the exhaust, but I suspect it can still be done with a modified exhaust, just have to build the bracket to dampen the sound and keep the centerstand in place.

Here is the pic of the folded up centerstand. Easier to understand if rotated 90 degrees.

Centerstand install took me a grand total of 15 minutes. Was easy. Unfortunately I had to give it up when I put on the Gen 3 StreetSmart from Brock. The issue is the lack of a stop on the mid-pipe when the stand is collapsed. Something could be rigged up or an good welder could put a stop on the mid-pipe. I liked the centerstand but haven't bothered trying to fix the mid-pipe. Instead I just got a forward handle Pit Bull rear stand, which I like better than the centerstand for home use. The centerstand was nice for long trips where chain maintainence was an issue.

Went to dealer today. They said they could not get. They said either Canada or the UK. They come stock on the ZZR aka our 14. Anybody got a web site and part number?

Go here, click on the "Optional Parts" page:

If your dealer still says he can't get them, find another dealer.

Exactly.
The dealer where I got my 14, http://www.kawasakicityirving.com usually keeps 1 or 2 in stock.

nookie your dealer is full of crap or just doesn't know his business. I ordered my centerstand the day I picked the bike up (back in April). Ordered it from the dealer in Enfield, CT. It arrived one week later, with my service manual, which I ordered at the same time. There is zero problem getting a centerstand or a service manual from a dealer in the U.S. In the parts catalog the centerstand kit is listed in the optional parts section. It comes with the centerstand, all of the nuts and bolts, the spring, the insert for the stop, and the left side grab handle. You'll have to lose the aft lower fairing. Installation requires that you remove the left and right mufflers, but the total installation time is less than 30 minutes.

I just had the welder cut the stop off the centerstand and weld a straight stub about 4 inches. With a rubber end it sits nice and tight under the swingarm. This was a far less easier way to go then to weld some stop on the muzzy. (which sits further away than the OEM connector pipe where the centerstand stop is supposed to hit.
.
Just got back from a 2000 mile camping trip up north. Speedpack worked very well. It has the aluminum frame so it doesn't cause the side bags to sag. Very well made and waterproof. I have the optional tent bag on top and a ventura rack/bag for about 160 litres of total space. Tom Tom gps in the middle. Didn't use it too much. Don't think its for me. Sending it back. Tech mount for the GPS and Passport were top notch too.
.
Anyhow, centerstand works great. Even with aftermarket exhaust. (and far less costly to modify than someone playing around with your aftermarket connector pipes.) Next week the Muzzy, headers, centerstand, centerstand handle and some other parts going in for some jet-hot black. (matte black) Right now I don't like the chrome mixed with the flat silver and black. Definitely get the pipes blackened, definitely.....

Interesting fix. Do you have dual mufflers or is that the 4-2-1 Muzzy? I have Brock's 4-2-1
exhaust and the muffler is on the other side.

Dual slip-ons. The fix is on the right side of the centerstand where the OEM stop used to be (closes to the gas pump side) prior to it being grinded down (off). When retracted it seats directly under the swing arm. The pic makes is look closes to the camera but its on the other side (where a single sided exhaust would normally be)
.
It took all of 20 minutes and $30 for the OEM stand to be have its stop grinded off and the 4 in. stub welded on. When the whole stand is coated it'll look stock. Its really an easy fix.

Anybody try the one from TwistedThrottle? They don't have a pic, so it is hard to measure against the OEM one.

The one from twisted throttle is the same as OEM. I went with one from the dealer which ordered it and got it in in less than a week. Twisted Throttle had a 3-4 week wait time.
.
I did a search on this site for the centerstand part numbers and passed them onto my dealer. Can't see why anyone would need to wait very long to get one. (as my experience showed it came in less than a week or so)

Actually, the one from twisted throttle is 'going to' be manufactured by MRA. It's not the OEM center stand.
