Stamped on the head is a number 6 and an arrow it is made of rubber painted black. oh i checked today with the dealer they are contacting a KMI Tec to ask them as well. and for a point of interest the screws that hold the plates in are not available from Kawasaki the throttle body is sold a non servicible unit $1700 bucks.

You can buy screws like that from most bolt supply stores,
I have a stainless kit, all metric, the heads are not tapered nicely like the stock parts though..
Mine will likely never see those screws again anyway... unless some freak warrantee incident ensues.

BTW , check all of your ducting, it could have fallen in, before they installed your airfilter, otherwise, I cant think of where it came from.
Must have been a monday or friday bike, a disgruntled worker could have tossed em in there.
Really though, the only thing made of black ribber, is the velocity stacks, that I can think of...

Speaking of foreigns objects I found a white shop cloth under my tank which I figured had been left at the factory as I uncrated the motorcycle myself but when I removed it it had duct tape moulded to fit the fuel pump that protrudes from the bottom of the tank????? Was this for possible leakage of gas or does the fuel pump freeze up in cold climates?????

Hey Northmedic. I think I've got an extra set of screws I can send you. I'll have to check. I pulled quite a few of these. I wouldn't think of selling them to ya. The post would get pulled.LOL

Belive it or not when I pulled the fairing off to put the pipe on something hit the floor I was what was that and looked and it was a golf ball I figure this also had to be put in from the factory wonder if your bike was assembeled around the same time golf ball had the nike swish on it nothing else. has anyone had a similar instance with theirs. Just plain weird. May be this there way of marking the fast bikes Ha Ha !
