Talking about rushing out a product? 2 of the 3 solutions require damaging your bike in some way or another. This was my first Corbin purchase, most likely it will be my last. Not a great impression being charged weeks ago for something that appeared to be ready to ship, then to find out I have machine off the brake pedal or ding my exhaust to get things to fit. Nice engineering...

Yeah it was funny as hell. I am sitting on my creeper ready to install them. I look at the picture start to read and get to the pipe denting, ect ect. I broke out laughing and no one was there lmao. Like I said some will go the extra mile to install and enjoy them. Just not for me that's all. My own fault I said to myself bro they make seats wtf are you doing lmao at myself.

Hey Bentley I don't want to get jumped on and start any fucked up rumors. So if you could hit me up with a pm message or whatever. Then I can ask you to do me a favor about the tire problem. Thanks in advance.

If someone gets these things installed soon, can you post a pick of how the right side works out?

Just got mine today. I'll work with it and see what it looks like when done. I plan on getting the Sato rearsets anyway, just to have more adjustability. So I don't think the clearance will be an issue. It's kinda obvious just looking at the stock setup that there would be issues with clearance. There's not much room to play with.

Yeah, as was mentioned before, it is a crazy design if you're using the stock pegs. I tried adjusting the rear brake pedal and it looks like you would have to take up all the slack on the threads. I went most of the way and it still wouldn't line up. I gave up at that point because you would have to adjust the brake light spring as well, that's just too much stuff to change around. Someone come up with a better way to install it, let me know. I agree that it's silly to put in the instructions to disfigure the stock bike in any way, shape or form. Wouldn't it have been easier to make a bracket that had at least a few more holes in it to get a greater range of adjustability? If it works with the Sato, then I'll have plenty more legroom so it won't matter, but as it stands it's a badly thought out product.

Okay, I went over the right side again with a fine-tooth comb. I completely disassembled the footpeg, bracket, springs, etc. Even with the brake lever floating freely ( ie not connected to the threaded pushrod) and pointing almost to the ground, there is no way it will fit. The lever itself hits the pipe when down that far. I cannot see any small amount of trimming or dinging that will free up space. I would like to see a picture from Corbin on how they got it to fit. They just show the left side.

From the sound of things, I think that I am not going to even bother opening mine. I'll just return them. It's total B.S. to make a product requiring you to physically damage your bike in order to make it fit.

I have requested a refund of my money, as it is past the 2-3 week "promise" I received in their reply to my order, and also have started a dispute with Paypal just in case Corbin gives me grief. I haven't heard anything back yet.

If I want to damage my bike installing aftermarket items on it, I would put Ivan's TRE on my bike without a PC3....

You need to do a little drilling and grinding to the Buell pegs to make them fit. Nothing is done to the bike and it's simple to return to stock.

Now I get an email back stating conveniently that my order shipped on Wed and it will take a week to get them, with no tracking number? Seems convenient to say it shipped a day before when I requested a refund.

The deal was to get more legroom for comfort, not not to move your feet back further.

Yea. Rearsets typically can't be adjusted lower than stock. That's not what they are for. They move your legs back and up for more ground clearance when cornering.

Addendum to my previous posts. I have gotten the footpegs to fit. I switched the brackets and finally got the right side to fit. I did, however, have to rotate the brake lever all the way down. The threaded bolt for the master cylinder pushrod is at it's max. It butted up against the lever. There is a couple millimeters clearance between the pipe and the footpeg. I'll send some pics shortly.

Just sitting on the stationary bike, I feel a noticable difference. The bend in my legs fits nicely into the side of the bike. Can't tell much about the new placement of the shifter. I'll give a ride report this weekend if it's not raining too much.
