final dyno tune before top end run last sat. i was able to get 196 on gps when you factor in my rpm correction was dead on for the gearing. ran out of room. ran 1.7 miles with an up down in the begining. dyno tune tonight to mr9 fuel and ended with 192.22 hp and 112.2 ftlbs. have pics if some one can post them. gained 3-4 with tune. last run was with 34lb in rear and 38 in front. now both have 40lb air pressure. was going to lower bike but i think i can do it with out that adjustment. gearing now is one up front and stock rear. just for giggles the best busa on that dyno with out motor work was 187hp. is the maxton a standing mile? how long is it? saturday morning im going to run 2.5 miles to see if i can hit 200, i cant even come close in a mile.

I would go with max pressure or more for a top-speed run...

stock zx-14s down here in S florida are running 173-176 and it had a HEAVY dude on there, he must be around 260-270lbs.
how much do you weigh?
I've ran my zx10r with 15psi up to 186mph a few times and a few other guys I know who "forgot" to up the pressure from the strip and havent had problems but I try to be atleast above 35psi when we do top end runs.

I went 202mph at Maxton on my 12R with 195rwhp, all motor. That's a standing mile. You shouldn't have any problems touching 200 with the proper gearing (+1 front sprocket) on your ZX14 in that distance, it's more aerodynamic and my 12R.

tried a standing mile and pulled 189- i cant see another 10+ coming from me. i do wiegh 265 with gear on. not a great launch guy either but ill hold it till it breaks. maybe a crack diet is due. if i could do 200mph in a standing mile id be doing 3 day everyday i ride. but tomorrow i have 2.5 miles if neede so i hope to do. maybe with my dryshot i could due the standing mile but it would be close.

The standing mile is a drag race, and has a lot to do with the rider. Put a small rider on your bike and it will do it, trust me.

sorry about that- i cant even understand what i wrote. day ended on a down note in fact it was a down day. alot of traffic and i think to tall gearing. never could hold it for the whole run and the troopers came. took a video recorder with out permission and gave us all racing tickets and seized my film. we were parked when they showed from complaints or their could of been a really good video.

SMeg, No A/C Tuned w/MR9. That dyno is alittle on the optimistic side , or mine is on the pessimistic side. We have identical Hp #'s on my Dyno & mine pulled 188hp & 109 Tq.
