help please need map for std ex and flies removed
hi
would really appreciate it if someone could send me a map for std ex , and flies removed
if no one has one even a map with flies removed and slip on exs might do , and then i could just remove fuel everywhere until i can get mine set up on the dyno

davis ag... I believe it may cost a few dollars but zx1kr has a dyno and I believe that he has a map that mey work. He is on most of the posts related to the flies being removed... it includes his E_mail and his phone number... I would call him.. I am at work and have no time to go through the posts or I would. Good Luck...

Unfortunately, I do not have a map for stock exhaust & no flies. But, if someone local to me is willing to dyno their bike at my shop I will be very fair on cost.
What I will offer is this. If anyone tunes at my shop with that set-up & purchase the PC3 through me, I'll re-tune them for free when they upgrade to a pipe.

Hey, have ya found a map yet? We did a full map on a 14 with a muzzy full system but with a yosh pipe on it, no flies and removed the metal screen on the air filter. Had massive gains with it down low but my uncle is going to do it to his stock bike so looking for a similar map, stock bike but no flies.
any luck?
if not I think monday were going to istall the PC3 and take the flies out and use the 14 with the exhaust map in and tune it and see how far off.

manage to get a map now which i have modded a little and seems to be working ok, well at least until i get a custom set up
have noticed the map supplied with my pc3 has quite a bit of ignition advance low revs small throttle positions
does removing the metal screen from the air filter make any difference

well Im sure it does help at higher speeds where ram air is very importannt we dynoed (and this is only on a dyno) just removing the air filter alone gave us 4 more peak hp, usually we dont see much increase with the filters on the dyno alone but these motros love to suck in gobs of air lol.
what kind of map did ya say you got?

we also use a factory pro dyno which is more real world hp rather than a dynojets accelerometer.
removing the butterflies showed a 23ft lbs increase at I thikn ist was 3,000 rpm!!! mucho gaino lol
