Night at the strip So, off I go to the strip tonight (to watch only) and there's all kinds of bikes...and 2-3 Busa's of course. Busa's are running in the low to mid 10's...then some dude in a Monte Carlo with slicks pulls up, spins the tires and lines up at the gate...next thing ya know, he lifts the front end up and pulls a 9.72@144....fastest fucker at the track...impressive indeed...front end must have come up a foot or so...nothing could catch this guy...Busa's (slow riders albeit) were drooling...(so was I). Now that's some serious power... ____________

What is it putting out at the wheel? I figure this puppy had to be somewhere in the 750+ RWHP?

I sold the Cuda to a good friend....Mr Vern Hill founder and owner of Hunter Ceiling Fans .....Vern now races the Car in NSS/A on a 9.20 Index .......The car runs easy 8s in the 1/4 but is slowed down to run the 9.20 index....
As you can see i have sold all my race cars but for one that i'm keeping... My street & strip 70 Roadrunner with a 500 cid wedge....I'm having more fun racing motorcycles so the cars were just setting around collecting dust... My Roadrunner has not been driven for over a year and i need to do something about that .... Smokin..

If it was not for the 14 I would have withdraws I'm sure smokin understands. I use to have a 67 elcamino that would run 9.teens in the 1/4 it was close to 4000 pounds. had a 427 injected on alcohol. the best car I ever had was my 23T alterd, with a 588 all Alum. keithblack chevy. it would run 7.50s all day long. Won some supercomp races and some bracket races with that car.
