I have an AreaP slip-on system on my 14. 1st they're stainless steel oval slip-on... 2nd the finish is polished and mirror or chrome in appearance.... 3rd the sound is the deepest sound I have heard....I have dual two brothers slip-ons on my CBR1100xx and the AreaP sound is heard over the two brothers.... and where ever I go everyone ask about the exhaust and says how good it sounds.....4th I have had them next to other exhaust systems and as far as deep sounding tone//////// none sound like the AreaP....5th real good construction it's assemble with screws for easy packing and the mid pipes are held together with band clamps... Its a great system and I am very happy with it !!!!!! ......HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.........PEACE/OUT DUDE

Yeah, I have them and they are very nice.
I was instantly wowed by the build quality and the look. They were just a little loud and almost "tinny" sounding until the packing wore in a little. This is pretty common. But the really cool thing is that the day they showed up Area P had uploaded their slip-on map to Dynojet.com (powercommander.com) So I was able to stick the map in right away.
They sound great, deep but not overly loud. I've had a lot of compliments at signal lights from cage drivers. One even asked me if they were the stock pipes.
Here are some pics.

gotta love that unique option from Area P of leaving the branding off. don't know of anyone else who offers that.

Are those the factory mid-pipes? If not, it's pretty cool that AreaP left room for the centerstand on the left-side.

I have a set coming but rode with da blk one and trust me, they have a really deep sound when on the throttle. So much so, that I ordered a set. Guess you can say that I was impressed. Not with just the sound but the quality of the mid and canister. I heard the others, but to me, the Area P's have the sound that I expect when I push the start button on a 1400cc bike. The sound is deep at idle but not overly loud, but a good bit louder than stock, of course. Just nice and deep. But you should hear them at about 3200 rpm! They really get deep and sound like a Mustang with a great set of Flowmasters and tuned just right!

I talked to Kerry and he was great on the input side too. Explains his pipe and quality very well and was very patient and descriptive answering the questions. He cemented the deal with me for sure. He told me on Wednesday that they were building 14 pipes on Thursday and I was right on time. He said that it would ship and Friday and sure enough, I got the e-mail on Friday night stating that they shipped. Now, I am waiting on Fed Ex and will get to hear the thunder myself!

I really want an exhaust and had my mind made up on either the Brock or the Two Brothers, or the Yosh or the D&D or the Muzzy or the..................................well, I guess you get the picture.
The AREA P is starting to "sound" like what I am looking for.

They sound really tight. A buddy of mine was about 200' behind me when I pulled out to pass a slow mover and he said it sounded like an IRL car gettin' Jiggy with it.
I had a full Muzzy system on a ZX-12C (ZZR1200) and it sounded a little lighter at idle and a little louder at WOT. The Area P's are mellower but deeper all of the time. I don't know how to describe it but at WOT they just sound mean.

I also like that they shipped the set without the logo stickers on them. Gives it that stock look without the length of the stock pipes.
Yes, the mid pipes come with the set and they are nicely polished SS.

No need to worry bout their CF - they use some of the best stuff I've seen. My extreme core s/o on the 10 looks unphased after a year and 10k miles of use.

I'll post pics, as I already went ahead and ordered them after speaking with Kerry Bryant on the phone. They were shipped yesterday and I'll post pics most likely same day they arrive. I got the 18" carbon slips with the 2.25" cores for my black 14...here is the email from Kerry yesterday:

Hi Paul,

Your ZX14 Carbon Fiber Slip-Ons with 2.25" cores are now ready. We will ship by FED-X today. They will send you an tracking number directly.

Thank you again for the order.

Sincerely,
Kerry Bryant
